Roberto Martinez’s Portugal will shoulder the favourites tag in Group F as they look to build on their ten out of ten 100% win record in qualification.
📊 Group F Odds
🇹🇷 Turkey
📈
Group Winner Odds: 4.50
Turkey are fancied to advance alongside Portugal, with Vincenzo Montella’s men a 1.30 shot to progress.
The Crescent-Stars also caught the eye en route to Euro 2024, losing just once in topping a relatively tricky qualifying group that included the likes of Croatia and Wales. As is often the case with Turkey, they will come into this summer’s tournament as one of several teams considered as dark horses.
Turkey lost all three of their Euro 2020 group games, conceding eight and scoring just once, but with less expectation surrounding them this time around they should be able to hold their nerve.

🇬🇪 Georgia
📈
Group Winner Odds: 15.0
Understandably, the bookmakers’ odds suggest that Georgia will find life tough when they make their maiden appearance at a major tournament this summer.
Being the lowest-ranked team at Euro 2024, it’s little surprise to see Georgia as 1.67 favourites to collect the Group F wooden spoon.
However, don’t expect the Crusaders to simply roll over and give each of their group stage opponents a free pass to the last 16.
The Georgians are clearly heading in the right direction under the astute guidance of Willy Sagnol, and their performances over the past couple of years suggest they can make things awkward for their Group F rivals. Sagnol’s side are priced at 2.60 to upset the apple cart by getting out of the group.
Georgia made the play-offs thanks to their Nations League success and got past Greece on penalties to book their spot in Germany.

🇵🇹 Portugal
📈
Group Winner Odds: 1.40
Portugal have been priced up as understandable 1.40 favourites on Paddy Power to finish top of the pile in Group F.
The Selecao – who conquered the continent back in 2016 – are among the nations at the head of the market to win Euro 2024, with 8.50 quotes currently available.
After failing to go beyond the quarter-finals of the 2022 World Cup, Portugal parted company with Fernando Santos and replaced him with Roberto Martinez in January 2023.
The ex-Belgium boss has made a blistering start to his tenure, having steered his side to ten wins out of ten during Euro 2024 qualification, smashing in 36 goals, and conceding just two, along the way for good measure.
Portugal have quickly adapted to Martinez’s possession-based style of play and progression to the last 16 as group winners is expected with a minimum of fuss.
How they performed in qualifying
🇨🇿 Czech Republic
📈
Group Winner Odds: 7.0
A difficult draw means that progression to the round of 16 is far from guaranteed for the Czech Republic, who will be looking to emulate their run to the quarter-finals of Euro 2020.
The Lions are as big as 7.0 to finish top of Group F, while they are 1.44 shots to extend their stay at Euro 2024 beyond the group stages.
Ivan Hasek’s side will view their match with Georgia in the middle of their schedule as key to their hopes of reaching the knockout phase for the second Euros in succession.
Euro 2024 Golden Boot winner Patrik Schick will lead the line with Bayer Leverkusen team-mate Adam Hlozek also in the squad. Beginning the tournament against Portugal will provide an examination of their credentials, with their matchday three clash with Turkey having the potential to be a winner-takes-all affair.

👑 Who will win Group F?
Portugal lead the betting in Group F and their pre-tournament exploits make them tough to oppose, though they don’t represent value at 1.40 you might want to include them in a group stage multiple.
The Selecao have set the international circuit alight since opting for a change in the dugout last year and they will have their sights set on a serious tilt at Euro 2024 glory.
Roberto Martinez has inherited a squad stacked with an abundance of quality all over the park, not to mention his attack will be spearheaded by Cristiano Ronaldo, who holds the all-time record for international goals, having netted 128 times for his country.
Even at the ripe old age of 39, the Portuguese superstar chipped in with ten goals across his eight appearances during qualification, and he will be desperate to fire his nation to glory in what will almost certainly be his last-ever appearance at a European Championships.
CR7’s supporting cast is laced with stardust too, with the likes of Bernardo Silva, Bruno Fernandes, and Rafael Leao set to provide further ammunition.
While Portugal have failed to record a first-place finish in their Euros group since 2008, their firepower should prove too hot to handle for their Group F foes this time around.
Martinez’s men also have the added incentive of knowing that topping the section would see them face one of the third-placed sides from either Group A, B, or C in the round of 16.

⬆️ Who will qualify from Group F?
It looks likely that the second spot in Group F will be taken by either Turkey or the Czech Republic.
However, with only eight teams exiting Euro 2024 upon the conclusion of the group stages, the aforementioned pair will both expect to reach the knockout rounds in Germany.
While the clash between the two on matchday three may prove pivotal, a draw could potentially suit both sides by the time they go head-to-head in Hamburg for their final Group F fixture.
Of the two teams though, Turkey arrive in better form and they look best equipped to bag second spot in Group F at 2.70 on Paddy Power, and 1.30 to progress.
Vincenzo Montella’s side surged to the summit of their group during qualification thanks to four wins from their final six games, and that positive momentum can propel them to a top-two finish in Group F.
The Czech Republic, on the other hand, were housed in a much softer qualifying section, finishing as runners-up to Albania.
What’s more, three of the Czech’s four victories during qualifying came against international minnows Moldova and the Faroe Islands, a trio of wins that hardly inspire confidence in them making a splash in Germany this summer.
Finishing second in Group F certainly isn’t out of the question for Ivan Hasek’s men, but they look more likely to be playing for third place in the pool alongside Georgia.
