There is a slight concern that he peaked in that contest, having been kept fresh after previously running in October, but there appears to be further untapped progress within reach. The grey was keen enough at Cheltenham so it was to hit credit he battled strongly to the line that day. Switching to a flatter course, coupled with drying ground conditions, he is likely to run an honest race for each-way supporters. Mexico came good over this trip for the first time at Uttoxeter.
