Winning over a shorter 6f trip here last year before landing his second win earlier this month, Storm Star beat today’s rivals Apiarist, Popmaster and Symbol Of Light. Although having to be corrected when hanging left, he stayed on well in the latter stages and leaves plenty of scope to improve further here today, racing only 4lb higher.

Winning easily when making all on his stable and chase debut, Caldwell Potter won comfortably by 5 lengths over 2m before producing a disappointing third at Cheltenham when sent over a further 2m4f trip for the first time in his career. Dropping back to 2m here today, this looks like the right move for the gelding and although it’s his first start at Windsor today, Caldwell Potter enjoys racing left-handed and is the one to beat in today’s affair.

Rounding up Friday’s free Racing Ratings tips, we are heading to Newcastle for the 15:55, where we have BRAZILIAN ROSE, coming in with a Racing Rating of 22.

A 4-year-old who is boasting an impressive record of 3 wins from 7 appearances and has been producing exceptional form here over course and distance this year. Winning on debut in August last year at Lingfield, Brazilian Rose failed to win in her next 4 starts, but returning in 2025 in great shape, she landed two quick-fire course and distance wins here at Newcastle. Another quick turnaround here today, winning just 6 days ago, connections are keen to keep this inform filly running and she holds bold claims on her return to Newcastle today.

Running on well to land her first win earlier this month at 12/1, she backed up this performance last time out when producing a career best, travelling strongly at the rear of the field before taking charge inside the final furlong. An impressive display and although she has a 5lb penalty to contend with here today, she has shown plenty in her 2 starts here this year and the hat-trick looks well within reach.
