Hull City dramatically sealed 6th place on the final day of the Championship season, as they came from behind to beat Norwich City 2-1.
That result ended a six-game winless run, and they will want to get off to a good start in the play-off semi-final first leg.
Millwall also finished the league phase with a win, putting them 3rd in the table, just one point behind Ipswich in 2nd.

📈 Hull v Millwall Form & Stats
It wasn’t the easiest journey for Hull to get to the play-offs this season, but they got the job done in the end after beating Norwich on the final day. The Tigers defied expectations by even being in contention - they only survived relegation in the 24/25 season on goal difference.
Hull really should have secured their play-off spot a few weeks ago - they failed to win six matches on the bounce leading up to the final weekend, with four draws and two losses in that period.
Millwall finished the season on a much stronger note, with a five-game unbeaten streak, but they were left disappointed in the end, as they missed out on automatic promotion by just a single point. The Lions have never played in the Premier League in their history, which makes this play-off run feel particularly significant for them. Millwall won 3-1 at the MKM Stadium only a few weeks ago, and they will be hoping for a similar outcome here.
📔 Hull v Millwall Formation & Team News
McBurnie will lead the line with Joe Gelhardt playing just behind him. Matt Crooks should play in a deeper midfield role alongside Regan Slater, hoping to protect the backline. Lewie Coyle should skipper the side from right back, with Ryan Giles on the opposite flank. Cody Drameh and John Lundstram remain in the treatment room, so Hull should persist with an unchanged lineup from the one that beat Norwich last time out.
Alex Neil is also unlikely to make any changes, and he will set up Millwall in their familiar 4-2-3-1 shape. Jake Cooper looks set to partner Tristan Crama at the heart of defence, with Zak Sturge and Ryan Leonard at the back. Femi Azeez has a bit of history against Hull, but he will hope to make a more positive impact from the right wing here.
