Level 1 Bet Builder Tip

Over 1.5 Goals

Odds: 1.30

If the first leg was anything to go by then any number of goals could occur in this second leg. An entertaining 2-2 draw was played out by two teams that went into that clash in excellent form. It proved to be a case of attack being the best form of defence, expect the same again here.

Stockport are now unbeaten in nine, during which every match has featured a minimum of two goals. The O’s have suffered defeat just once in 11 outings and the six away contests played in that sequence have averaged 3.83 goals per game. The first season head-to-head meetings have averaged 3.33 goals too, all signs point to goals.

Charlie Kelman to have 2+ Shots

Odds: 1.36

Charlie Kelman is a very reliable source of goals at this level. There is little doubt that Leyton Orient would be considerably lower down the league table if it weren’t for his goals. The on-loan QPR man is actually the top scorer in League One and fired in a brace in the first leg, which made it 12 goals in his last 12 appearances.

He has managed to have two or more shots in 32 of his 47 league and play-off appearances this season, which is just over 68%. On that basis, it would be a big surprise if he failed to produce a repeat at the very least. Considering he is far and away the main attacking threat for Orient, the game plan will be to work the ball to him and let him work his magic in the final third.

Jamie Donley to have 1+ Shots on Target

Odds: 1.90

The Northern Ireland international may only be 20 years of age but he has already made a huge impression in what is ultimately his first proper season of senior football. The youngster is on loan from Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur and he could be part of their first-team squad next season. Although Charlie Kelman, another on-loan forward, has caught all of the headlines at Brisbane Road this season, Donley is still a very important cog in the Orient machine.

Donley has 18 goal involvements in league action this season, eight of which being him as the actual goalscorer. Only Kelman has netted more goals than him for Leyton Orient and the fact his eight goals came from 17 shots on target means just over 47% of his shots on target resulted in a goal. He has averaged 1.0 shots on target across his previous six appearances, a period in which he's scored twice. He hit the target in the first leg and has done so in five of his last six matches.

Level 2 Bet Builder Tip

Over 8.5 Corners

Odds: 1.72

The first leg offered big clues at what we should likely expect in this second leg. There were fears of two in-form teams potentially cancelling one another in a rather boring and drab affair, but it was anything but. Stockport and Leyton Orient are used to winning games at the moment and they will view the best chance of reaching Wembley as staying in that way of thinking. Doing so means the prospect of corners has to be high.

The opening match at Brisbane Road included nine corners, meaning the average corners created across all three head-to-head battles this season is 8.67. Leyton Orient ended the regular league season with the seventh-highest average corners earned per game with 5.17, with Stockport narrowly behind on 4.85. That figure for County raises to 5.17 based on home league contests.

Orient see an average of 9.37 and Stockport just below on 8.24. Knowing this would be the last game of the season for the loser, the chance of corners would rise later in the clash if one team was behind. We could see a very high corner count here.

Will Collar to have 1+ Shots on Target

Odds: 1.62

Will Collar is a real fan favourite at Edgeley Park. It would be somewhat poignant if he has a positive impact on this match considering he signed for Stockport when they were a National League club. Despite the rise through the leagues, the 28-year-old continues to be a big presence, particularly offensively. Collar is the joint-third highest league scorer for County this season.

The ex-Hamilton Academical man is capable of playing in many different roles but has more recently found his home at attacking midfield. However, don’t be surprised to see him move into a wider role potentially at some point, or possibly even a little deeper. Doing that though would take away his attacking threat, so his manager is likely to keep him in advanced areas. Collar has returned three shots on target in his last three appearances, and has managed at least a shot in eight consecutive matches - Collar has taken 11 shots in total over this period.

If the match is to become stretched like many expect it to be, then that plays perfectly into the hands of Collar. He is an all-action type that gets from box-to-box. The sheer energy he provides means he will drive forward and make that extra lung busting run when others are dropping out. He could easily have a major say in this second leg, perhaps in the latter stages.

Charlie Kelman to Commit 2+ Fouls

Odds: 4.0

Charlie Kelman is obviously more commonly associated with being an goalscorer at League One level and being the shining star in the Leyton Orient roster. However, there is another angle which probably doesn’t showcase him in as much of a bright light. This comes in the form of fouls committed, which is not uncommon for any centre forward.

Kelman has made a minimum of two fouls on eight occasions this season, two of those have come in his last two appearances. This also includes the first leg against Stockport, so it appears the big occasion tends to bring this slightly nastier and aggressive side out of the QPR loanee.

Leyton Orient have a PPDA (Presses per Defensive Action) of 8.11, which suggests they press with real intent in all areas of the pitch. Kelman, being the focal man in attack, will be the man tasked with pressing from the front and it is these situations where he is likely to make his fouls. Everything is on the line in the game and he’ll know it, so he won’t be shirking out of any challenges or duels on the night. Also, a degree of frustration could sneak into his mind if he or his team begin to struggle or see things going against them. This pick is great value.
