Real Madrid v Mallorca Betting Preview & Quick Tips

Jed Langham
I’ve always been obsessed with sports. Over time, this passion naturally evolved into a fascination with stats and sports betting, especially football. The Premier League is my bread and butter, having grown up watching it, but my interest spans leagues across the globe - if there's a game on, I'll find a punting angle for it.
Real Madrid v Mallorca
Kick Off: Wednesday 14th May at 20:30
Competition: La Liga
Four of the last five meetings have seen less than three goals
Madrid draw the second most fouls in the league and commit the least by a wide margin
Mallorca haven't won at the Bernabeu since 2009, but drew the reverse fixture 1-1
After their defeat in El Clásico over the weekend, Real Madrid have all but conceded the league title to Barcelona. With only three games remaining and a seven-point gap, the title race appears effectively over.
Following their Champions League elimination and a Copa del Rey final loss, also to Barcelona, this latest setback is another blow in a difficult season. It's hard to imagine morale in the Madrid camp isn't low, and that could reflect in their performance on Wednesday.
Mallorca, meanwhile, also have little left to play for. Despite recent setbacks, playing at home, Madrid remain heavy favourites for this fixture.
⭐ Real Madrid v Mallorca Predictions and Best Bets

➡️ Back Mallorca to Commit the Most Fouls in Each Half @ 2.50 with Paddy Power
After Sunday's El Clásico defeat, Real Madrid are unlikely to come out with high intensity, especially with the league title effectively out of reach. Mallorca have been strong at the back, conceding just 1.14 goals per game, one of the best records in La Liga.
Offensively, they’ve struggled, averaging only 0.94 goals per match. Madrid have conceded just 1.06 per game, and with rotation likely, their attacking output could be limited as well. Four of the last five meetings between these two have seen fewer than three goals scored (3-0, 1-1, 1-0, 1-0, 1-0).
Real Madrid draw the second-most fouls in the league, averaging 13.57 per game, more than Mallorca’s 11.34. Mallorca also commit more fouls, averaging 11 per match compared to Madrid’s league-low eight. The data points to Mallorca committing the most fouls and odds of 2.50 look solid for them to do so in each half.
⚪ Real's Disappointing Season Draws to a Close
By most standards, Real Madrid’s season would be considered fair, but for a club of their stature, it has been a major disappointment. This will be only the second time since 2009 that they finish a campaign without a major trophy, the last being in 2020–21 under Zinedine Zidane.
Losing all four El Clásicos this season has added to the frustration, especially given the quality and depth in their squad. Despite a strong run of seven wins from their last eight league matches heading into this game, poor away form has undermined their title challenge.
With nothing left to play for, it may be difficult for the team to find motivation or positives in the final fixtures.
🔴 Mallorca's Low Margin Matches
Mallorca’s season has been marked by inconsistency and a lack of momentum. They've managed just two wins in their last seven matches and have struggled to put together any sustained run of form.
A trip to the Bernabéu, where Madrid have dropped points in only three games all season, will be a huge challenge. That said, they may be facing Madrid at a favourable time. Mallorca’s main issue has been their lack of attacking output, averaging under a goal per game, though they’ve maintained a solid defensive record throughout the campaign.
📊 Real Madrid v Mallorca Head-to-Head Key Stats
These two sides met on the opening weekend of the season, with the match ending 1-1, a result that foreshadowed Real Madrid’s struggles away from home this campaign. Madrid have managed just nine wins from 18 on the road, drawing five and losing four.
That first encounter was tightly contested. while Madrid dominated possession, the stats for shots, corners, and expected goals were fairly even. Historically, Madrid have had the edge in this fixture, scoring first in four of the last five meetings and going unbeaten in the last four matchups. Interestingly, corners have been limited, with under 10.5 flag kicks in eight of the last 10 encounters.
