Atalanta v Napoli
🏟
Saturday 5th November – 5:00PM KO
This is one of three huge games taking place in Serie A this weekend and it sees the league’s two top teams go toe-to-toe.
Atalanta are currently five points behind Napoli and they are the home team so the impetus will certainly be on La Dea to attack from the off and try to get ahead. Napoli were away at Liverpool in midweek and whilst it was a game with little riding on it, they will be in worse shape than Atalanta.
Despite that, the fact that they are in such devastating form at the moment means it is incredibly hard to imagine them not scoring at last once at the Gewiss Stadium on Saturday evening.
Atalanta are not such a goal-laden side this season but they are very clinical when they get in the right positions. With the aforementioned reasons for them needing the three points more than Napoli here, they should be finding a way around the Napoli backline at some point.
An early goal for either side should spark this match into life and lead to a superb spectacle for the fans to enjoy. An added element to Atalanta likely scoring is that even if it is from the bench, Duvan Zapata is expected to be back in action for the Nerazzurri.

AC Milan v Spezia
🏟
Saturday 5th November – 7:45PM KO
AC Milan had a great time in midweek as they beat RB Salzburg 4-0 to book their place in the knockout stages of the Champions League. That suggests that they have put their 2-1 defeat in Serie A against Torino behind them.
It was a result that came out of nowhere after four straight Serie A wins and Stefano Pioli must have been concerned about how his team was going to react. The midweek win will have helped, and he may be pleased that Milan are at home to lowly Spezia this weekend to get back into Serie A form.
Spezia have not won in their last five and look like, whilst not currently in the relegation zone, a team that will be in the relegation picture when push comes to shove later in the campaign.
The Rossoneri have been very good at home in the past couple of seasons and it almost feels routine for them to win games like this one 4-0. That could well be the case here as Spezia are devoid of form and confidence.
It would be a surprise to see the Ligurians even find the back of the net, let alone get any points from the game. Rafael Leao has got a point to prove after his last two displays and Spezia may find themselves on the receiving end of that.

Roma v Lazio
🏟
Sunday 6th November – 5:00PM KO
This is likely where the best atmosphere all weekend in Serie A will be as the Stadio Olimpico plays host to the Derby della Capitale with Roma as the home side.
There is a lot about this tie that suggests Roma should be the team coming out on top. They are the home side and their recent derby record is very impressive.
They got the win they needed in midweek to progress to the next round of the Europa League, whilst Lazio were dumped out of that tournament and put into the Europa Conference League.
Yet another factor in Roma’s favour is that Ciro Immobile is still out injured and Sergey Milinkovic-Savic is suspended after a yellow card in last weekend’s defeat against Salernitana.
If you could ask for two Lazio players to not be involved as the opposition, then those are the two you’d ask for.
The ball is in Roma’s court here but who knows, maybe they won’t be able to handle that sort of pressure and it will play into Lazio’s hands.
Having lost at the weekend, Lazio are likely to be fearful of another defeat and may be more content with a draw considering the players they have out.

Prediction: Roma to Win, 2.05 on Betfair (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️)
Juventus v Inter Milan
🏟
Sunday 6th November – 7:45PM KO
If the Rome derby wasn’t enough for you, it is immediately followed by the Derby d’Italia between Juventus and Inter.
These sides are not where they want to be in the table at all as Juve sit 7th and Inter are only two points further up the road in sixth.
The game is taking place at the Allianz Stadium and a loss for either side would say a huge amount about their chances to get back into the title race.
Juve could be boosted by the returns of players like Dusan Vlahovic, Angel di Maria, Gleison Bremer and Federico Chiesa.
That still may not be enough to help them though as Inter, despite losing a dead rubber to Bayern in midweek, have found their feet again under Simone Inzaghi.
The importance of a win to both sides means that there should be attacking and at least one goal at each end, but Inter have to be the slight favourites coming into this one.
Inter have suffered their own injury issue recently as Romelu Lukaku suffered a relapse of his thigh issue and is therefore unlikely to feature at all. There is a slight chance though that Marcelo Brozovic could make his return.
