Accrington Stanley v Wycombe Wanderers
🏟
Saturday 26th February- 3:00PM KO
Accrington Stanley welcome a Wycombe Wanderers side, who are desperate for a win to climb back into the play-off places, to the Crown Ground on Saturday. The Chairboys are winless in six, drawing three, and have seen over 3.5 goals in their last two outings.
Gareth Ainsworth’s men have only kept one clean sheet in their last six, have found the net in eight of ten and take on a Stanley side with far less to play for at this stage of the season.
John Coleman’s men seem to be perennial entertainers in League One and have taken more shots than any other side in the division this season. Wycombe sit third on that metric, Stanley have scored two or more goals in their last three at the Crown Ground, they drew a blank at Doncaster Rovers in midweek, but generated 3.26 expected goals (xG), as per Wyscout, in the process.
Accrington have not been able to keep the back door shut this season and have only kept one clean sheet in nine. This one is set up to be an entertaining affair, Stanley will be looking to build momentum for next season, they are far stronger in attack, and will sense the opportunity as a low on confidence Wycombe side visit them without a win since mid January.

AFC Wimbledon v Doncaster Rovers
🏟
Saturday 26th February – 3:00PM KO
The market has Wimbledon puzzlingly strong favourites for their hosting of Doncaster Rovers on Saturday. This is an enormous game in the third tier relegation battle and a cliche six pointer.
The Dons are winless in 14 and it does not seem clear where the next win is going to come from under Mark Robinson. Jack Rudoni and Ayoub Assal are set to return to the squad but are unlikely to be 100% back to their best physical condition, Anthony Hartigan also remains sidelined.
Donny have earned six points from the last nine available and have looked a different side since the January transfer window. Gary McSheffrey’s much-improved Rovers have beaten Milton Keynes Dons, third, and Sunderland, sixth, since the turn of the year and most recently Lincoln City and Accrington.
Josh Martin and Reo Griffiths have given them more imagination in the final third, while Ollie Younger has added some defensive solidity. Confidence wise Donny certainly have the upper hand, performances have been stronger at home for Wimbledon in recent weeks but the market has them alarmingly short to win the game, and that provides some value with the visitors.

Prediction: Doncaster Rovers Double Chance, 2.0 on Betfair (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️)
Burton Albion v Shrewsbury Town
🏟
Saturday 26th February – 3:00PM KO
Burton Albion have been going under the radar as one of the better-performing sides in League One in recent weeks. The Brewers were unfortunate not to win at Sunderland in midweek, with Ross Stewart equalising in second half additional time, and will fancy their chances of getting back on track against relegation-threatened Shrewsbury Town.
The Shrews are winless in nine, have only scored five goals in their last ten games and have a few niggling injuries going into the game. David Davis remains sidelined, Tyrese Fornah is doubtful and Josh Vela is suspended for the trip to the Pirelli Stadium.
Gassan Ahadme, Christian Saydee and Oumar Niasse have bolstered the attacking contingent in the last month or so, ensuring the Brewers have not suffered from Daniel Jebbison’s recall, and with Joe Powell and Jonny Smith supplying the chances they are always dangerous. Burton are extremely strong from set-pieces and will certainly test the Shrews’ resolve in that regard. One goal may be enough given how poor the Shrews have been in attack with Steve Cotterill’s men nervously looking over their shoulders.

Prediction: Burton Albion Draw no Bet, 1.57 on Betfair (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️)
Plymouth Argyle v Rotherham United
🏟
Saturday 26th February – 3:00PM KO
Plymouth Argyle are in a slightly inflated position, fifth, after taking 12 points from a favourable run of games against Crewe Alexandra, Gillingham, Doncaster Rovers and Shrewsbury Town. That was exposed in their 2-0 defeat at Cambridge United in midweek and the visit of the league leaders should provide a good barometer for how far they have come under Steven Schumacher.
Brendan Galloway, George Cooper and Dan Scarr remain sidelined, weakening their defensive solidity a touch while they come up against the strongest backline in League One. Rotherham United have seen under 2.5 goals in eight of nine, with Paul Warne’s men establishing control on the majority of their fixtures with promotion providing a light at the end of the tunnel.
There is an opportunity to back the best team in the division at just under evens but given the theme of their recent fixtures an unders play appears the most enticing.
The Millers have been very reliable against the teams around them and both sides would possibly view a draw as a good result at Home Park. The attacking dynamism has not been as present for Rotherham in the last couple of months as they have ground out results to keep themselves comfortably inside the automatic promotion spots.

Prediction: Under 2.5 Goals, 1.75 on Betfair (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️)
Sheffield Wednesday v Charlton Athletic
🏟
Saturday 26th February – 3:00PM KO
Charlton Athletic’s attacking injury woes were worsened when Mason Burstow limped off in the Addicks’ 2-0 midweek defeat at home to MK Dons. The knock is not as bad as first feared, but still weakens the 18-year-old’s chance of starting at Hillsborough.
Chuks Aneke is out long term, Jayden Stockley and Scott Fraser are back in training but will not be 100% fit while Conor Washington is also sidelined. Corey Blackett-Taylor and Jake Forster-Caskey are also unlikely to feature for the South Londoners.
Charlton have lost four on the bounce, key player Sean Clare is suspended, and did not manage a shot on target against the Dons on Tuesday evening. Wednesday have been one of the most impressive teams in the division since the turn of the year and will be confident of bridging the one point gap between themselves and the play-offs before the end of the season.
Despite being hit by injuries they have continued to create chances and score goals regularly, with the midfield trio of Massimo Luongo, Barry Bannan and George Byers taking a firm grip on games from central midfield. This is one of the worst fixtures Charlton could have after their recent results and performances.
