We kick things off on Teesside, with a four star selection from our Championship Scout…

Michael Carrick’s Boro side have become something of the entertainers in the Championship since the former Manchester United man was installed at the helm. The xG increase has been fairly substantial and the style of play has been pleasing to watch for the Boro faithful.

Millwall’s front four has allowed them to become more diverse in attack, and not just the set-piece experts that many of us have labelled them as. Zion Flemming has been at the heart of this, and has laid out chances galore to his attacking partners in Tom Bradshaw, Tyler Burey and Andreas Voglsammer.

Both teams have scored in all except one of Carrick’s matches in charge of Boro. Both teams have also scored in all four matches Carrick has led at the Riverside Stadium. Including the FA Cup clash with Brighton, both Boro and their opponents are averaging two goals per game across those four matches.

Now onto Ligue 1, where our Scout tipped Lens to win and over 1.5 goals. However, we’re taking Lens as a straight win for this one…

With a perfect nine wins from nine home matches, anything but a home win would be a major upset in the first Ligue 1 encounter of the weekend. Lens have kept four clean sheets in the league in front of their own fans. Their opponents are averaging just 0.78 goals in those matches. Franck Haise’s side are currently 2nd in Ligue 1. Six points behind PSG.

AJA are particularly bad on the road. They have lost seven of nine road trips this season, conceding 23 goals in the process. They have won only three of their 18 league matches so far and look destined for relegation.

The home side have a 75.8% probability of winning in the Andy’s Bet Club Bet Pack.

Now for a trip to Andalusia for this five star selection from our La Liga Scout…

88% of Girona’s games have seen both teams score, while second place is Real Madrid with 81% and then third place is Sevilla, with 75% of the Andalusian outfit’s games having seen both goalkeeper’s nets ripple.

The home side are yet to keep a clean sheet in front of their own fans since their return to La Liga. They are conceding an average of 1.63 goals per game in the league this season. Girona have also looked good going forward. They have scored in all but one of their matches at Estadi Montilivi; with an average of 1.75 goals per game.

Sevilla have kept just one clean sheet away from home in the league this season. They have also scored in every one of those matches.

Goals have been a regular occurrence across the entire season. Both teams have scored in each of Sevilla’s last four La Liga games, while Girona are on an incredible run of 13 games in a row with both teams scoring.

Our Premier League Scout has tipped a victory for the Londoners in this five star selection…

Brentford are accomplished in possession and will be able to create a number of chances if they are afforded too much space. Thomas Frank’s side have an xG of 26.76 the seventh-highest in the Premier League. The Bees also beat Liverpool in their last Premier League fixture.

Bournemouth have just one away league win this season. Their opponents are averaging 2.50 goals per game even if you exclude the 9-0 drubbing at the hands of Liverpool. I expect Brentford to bounce back from their FA Cup exit and get the win on Saturday.

Our Bet Pack tells us that Brentford have a 60.1% chance of winning this one.

Arguably the biggest game of the weekend is the fifth prediction in this six-fold accumulator, with our Premier League Scout tipping both teams to find the net in this rendition of the Manchester Derby…

A hugely anticipated Manchester Derby arrives this Saturday lunchtime, as the Reds take on the Blues! United come into this game in excellent shape, they’re currently up at the top of the form table with eight wins on the bounce in all competitions. The goals have been flowing and they are currently averaging a whopping 2.63 goals per game in this time.

United were comprehensively beaten at the Etihad, but they still managed to score 3 goals. They were significantly better in the second half. Ten Hag will be keen to ensure his players don’t make a slow start this time.

The attacking prowess of City needs no introduction. They have a host of talent in their forward line. Pep’s side scored twice at Old Trafford last season and they should find the net again on Saturday.

A five star selection from our Championship Scout takes us to Yorkshire where they predict three points for the hosts…

The Blades have won nine of their last 11 matches. Their fine run of form has seen them open up a nine point gap on third place. Sheffield United beat Stoke 2-1 at this ground last season. We should see a repeat of that this weekend.

United have been extremely solid defensively. The last team to score more than once against United were Burnley on the 5th November, albeit that was in a 5-2 win for Blades. In their current form, Stoke are not the team to overly concern them from an attacking perspective either. Sheffield United’s opponents are averaging just 0.85 goals per game at Bramall Lane this season.
