Kuressaare v Levadia
🏟
Tuesday 28th June – 4:00PM KO
It’s about time we start to give Kure a bit of respect, a team that has been the best team out of the bottom 6 mainly being a surprise to many. 8 points from 15 leaves them with a slim possibility of cracking the top 4. Grabbing points in recent games against Kalju and Paide isn’t to be ignored – it will be interesting to see how they fare against the current Estonian champions.
Levadia’s league form is fine, they are keeping pace with Flora who seem to be the ones to beat this season. An embarrassing early knockout in the Champions League Preliminary round against Víkingur has caused a lot of debate on how far behind the top teams in Estonia are falling behind the rest in Europe. But attention now turns into the league, and they’ll want to put that setback in Europe behind them against Kure.
From what has been the best defence in the league, Levadia have struggled defensively in recent weeks, conceding in each of their last 3, as well as conceding 6 against Víkingur in the Champions League, in what was one of the worst defensive performances from Levadia in years.
Kure’s last 4 wins have resulted in a win to 0, which is a vast improvement on previous years and finally having the ability to score goals helps immensely .Kure have never beaten Levadia, but they are improving, are they quite at the level to beat Levadia, probably not, but Levadia defensively recently have been amateur, having said that Levadia always score goals, they’ve scored in 16 out of 17 games this season and are the 2nd highest scorers in the league. The safest bet for this one would be O2.5 goals

Tallinna Kalev v Nomme Kalju
🏟
Tuesday 28th June – 6:00PM KO
Kalev’s next 3 games come up against the runaway top 3, so collecting 8 points from their last 4 games came at perfect timing, as collecting any points in the next few weeks seems very unlikely.
First up for Kalev is Kalju who are in worse form than Kalev right now. However, Kalju have been up against the top 5 teams respectively. Despite a little rough patch, Kalju have been very good this season, and look almost different from the team we saw last season.
Kalju will be without their captain Giannis Tsivelekidis through suspension, on paper a very big loss but to serve this suspension against a lesser team in Kalev works in the favour of Kalju, and a slight reshuffle at the back gives them enough stability to cover for him.
Alex Tamm has returned from injury, despite having 6 goals he has failed to score in 8 games this season – his physical presence will be a threat to the Kalev defence.
Kalev statistically have the best creative player in the league right now in Ioan Yakovlev, leading the way with 7 assists, his creativity has been so crucial in keeping Kalev out of the relegation places, and he is going to need to be in top form if Kalev stand any chance in getting anything from this one.
Kalev have never beaten Kalju in 17 attempts including losing the last 7. Kalev getting anything out of this game is very bleak, and it comes down to what Kalju side shows up, the loss of captain Giannis Tsivelekidis shouldn’t hamper things too much as Kalju possess multiple leaders. Kalju’s talent is double that of Kalev and it will show in this game.

Prediction: Kalju -1, 1.73 on Betfair (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️)
Tammeka v Narva Trans
🏟
Wednesday 29th June – 3:30PM KO
Tammeka vs Narva brings two teams together who are in torrid form of late. Both teams entered this season with great optimism, and it’s been nothing short of a nightmare.
Tammeka have only won once in their last 10 games, and only winning one of them, with that coming against lowly Parnu.Things seems to be going from bad to worse for Tammeka, who can’t seem to buy any luck of late. A horrible 4-1 defeat at home Legion has really dragged Tammeka into the relegation scrap. Tammeka will see this fixture as an ideal opportunity to pull away from the bottom 2, with bottom of the table Parnu to come after this match.
Narva didn’t fare much better here losing 9 in a row, until a 1-1 draw against Tallinna Kalev last week ended that poor run. It was a game that Narva probably should have won, although they were hit with injuries and suspensions at the back. Dodgy Estonian referring also cost them all 3 points with Kalev’s equaliser clearly being offside. Like Tammeka, Narva will be seeing this match as an opportunity to turn their season around. With a mixed bag of fixtures approaching, this is a game where 3 points is certainly a possibility.
This game could go either way, with Tammeka winning 3 out of the last 5 meetings and Narva winning the other 2. One thing that is promised is goals. These two always put on a goal fest when facing eachother, averaging 3 goals a game. Tammeka will be without goalkeeper’s Agarmaa, who is suspended and Pechter, who is still injured. Midfielder Magimets will also be suspended for this tie. Narva will be thankful to see star centre back Dedechko return from suspension and will be hoping Nesterovski and Kondrattsev will be fit to secure up the back line.

Prediction: Both Teams to Score, 1.57 on Betfair (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️)
Legion v Paide
🏟
Wednesday 29th June – 5:30PM KO
Another top v bottom clash sees Legion take on Paide.
Legion are showing the league that they’re no pushovers, despite their position in the league and the young squad. Legion have really started to find some form for the first time this season, losing only 1 game in their last 5 league matches, with that defeat coming against the reigning champs Levadia. With 2 wins coming in that spell, against Narva Trans and an impressive thumping of the poor Tammeka last week. Without their points deduction, Legion will be sat in the dizzy heights of 6th place.
Paide have been so inconsistent this season and it makes you wonder how long Voolaid will have left in charge of Paide. When they’re on song, they look unstoppable, and then they’re games where they look so amateur. A season which started with excitement in the city of Paide, and a potential title challenge has faded away very quickly. Most recently drawing 1-1 with Kure despite hitting the woodwork on numerous occasions and Robi Saarma missing a 93rd minute penalty, which in true Estonian fashion, was a dodgy penalty in the first place.
Paide have a strike force that all teams in the league can only dream about, but their inability to keep clean sheets has been their downfall, with main starter Aksalu only keeping 2 this season.
Legion will be missing Danil Pankov, who was sent off against Tammeka last week and will be hoping Pavel Domov will return to help bolster up that midfield. Paide will be missing top scorer Deabeas through suspension, but the wealth of options available to them in Saarma, Saag and Singhateh, won’t hurt them too much. Centre back Abdul Yusif will also be missing, so Kristjan Pelt will probably cover in his absence.
Legion have never beaten Paide, and despite Paide’s inconsistency, they should prevail with all 3 points having already beaten Legion 5-0 this season. There will be plenty of goals here.

Prediction: Paide -1, 1.73 on Betfair (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️)
