Valencia have excelled at home this season, possessing the sixth best home record in La Liga. The hosts have amassed an average of 2.09 points per game at the Mestalla. Baraja’s men are unbeaten across their last seven home games, winning five times across a run in which they have faced the likes of Barcelona and Bilbao.

Sevilla have struggled when playing away from home this season, picking up just nine points from eleven matches. The visitors have won twice on the road, with both of these wins coming against sides in the bottom seven of the table.

This market has won in nine of Valencia’s eleven home matches this season, with one of their two losses occurring when Baraja’s side played with ten men for more than half of the match. Everything points towards the hosts earning at least a point here.

Across their last four home games, Valencia have registered an average of 3.75 shots on target per match. Their upcoming opponents have leaked plenty of shots on target across their last four away games, conceding an average of 5 shots on target per match.

Hugo Duro, who has scored in both of his last two home starts, has registered at least one attempt on target per game across this run. The Spanish forward also found the target when the two sides met in August.

Duro is averaging 0.86 shots on target per 90 this season, and given Sevilla’s hapless form not just away from home but in general, the Spaniard will fancy his chances of hitting the target just once.
