Swiatek doesn't tend to concede many aces. Indeed, she has conceded only six in the tournament as a whole so far, with only Polina Kudermetova breaking through this line that has been set for Anisimova.

Swiatek hasn't seen an ace fly past her in the last two rounds at all.

The American has a good serve but it isn't a big one. She served only two aces in the whole of her epic semi-final with Aryna Sabalenka, the chances are that she will have fewer serves to hit in this match as well.

One area where we could see issues for Anisimova is in double faults.

This was a minor issue in the semi-final, she hit five in that match but the increased pressure of the final, plus the perceived difficulties in trying to get through Swiatek in these return games is foreseen to give Anisimova a lot of questions to answer on the second serve.

Anisimova had the highest number of double faults in the tournament of any of the semi-finalists, and it is a regular feature of her game.

On the other hand, Swiatek has been working hard over the last year to add some more pop to her own serve. 

Whilst it has been somewhat inconsistent to this point, she has found her delivery in the latter stages of this tournament. Her fastest serve was 119mph in the semi-final, a big number for many on the men's tour, never mind for Swiatek in particular who has never been seen as a big server.

Anisimova conceded six aces to Sabalenka and 11 to Linda Noskova. In between, she conceded zero to Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, bur Swiatek is to some degree a better server than the Russian.

Swiatek has beaten this line in four of her matches this week, and although she hit only two in her semi-final, she only served a very low number of balls given her dominance.
