For all of Charlton's recent goals, they still only rank 11th for xGF across the season as a whole, and so there isn't a great deal of evidence to suggest this will be a match full of goals. The Charlton central defender scored the opener against Wycombe, and the thought behind set plays could be to get Jones on the end of at least one this time around.

The winger is one of Charlton’s big shot threats, and he has hit this 2+ shots mark in two of his last three matches. Indeed, he has hit this mark regularly when he starts matches, having done so in eight of his last 14 starts in the league.

More of the shot burden may fall onto Campbell in this match, though because of the injury to Luke Berry last time out. Campbell is averaging 1.7 shots per 90 throughout the season as a whole.

Small will play on the opposite wing to Campbell, and has picked up a habit of collecting yellow cards, especially of late. He is directly up against James McClean, which is often a recipe for a spicy 90 minutes, especially when the heat is on, as it is likely to be during this match.

Small has picked up a yellow card in two of his last three starts, and five in his last 20 matches, and interestingly, they have come from a mixture of fouls, time-wasting, and dissent.

A draw will likely suit Wrexham in this match, whereas Charlton need to win, and this leg adds both of these results into one leg. Charlton carry the greater level of form into this encounter, especially with their 4-0 win at Wycombe on Monday.

Wrexham are very strong at home, but they have rarely played a team as strong a side as this current Charlton outfit.
