Scott McTominay was a pivotal part of Scotland’s qualification efforts, netting seven times and picking up an assist in his eight appearances. The Manchester United man finished the fifth highest scorer in the Euro qualifiers, tied with his club teammate Rasmus Holjund, but surpassing the likes of Erling Haaland (6), Bruno Fernandes (6) and Bukayo Saka (4). He averaged a decent 1.10 shots on target per 90 during qualifying from 2.67 shots and he will certainly be the main to look for inspiration during the competition.
