Scotland seek to build on their opening World Cup win over Haiti when they face a far sterner task against Morocco.
Fouls and cards look like strong value in this one, but don’t discount the prospect of Steve Clarke’s side getting on the scoreboard either.

📂 Scotland v Morocco Cheat Sheet
📈 Scotland Recent Form
Scotland secured their first World Cup finals victory since 1990 with a 1-0 win over Haiti.
It was an unconvincing success from Steve Clarke’s side, who failed to get a serious grip on the game, yet nevertheless defended stoutly and gave up few clear-cut chances. Scotland has won their last 3 internationals, having beaten both Curacao and Bolivia in warm-up fixtures.
Some rotation is expected in the starting XI, with the 4-4-2 used against Haiti set to be cast aside and a 4-2-3-1 likely to be installed. Ryan Christie is likely to come back into the team, while Scott McKenna will be pushing to start after a slight injury.
Billy Gilmour dropped out of the squad shortly before the tournament to be replaced by Tyler Fletcher.
📈 Morocco Recent Form
Morocco kicked off the World Cup with a 1-1 draw against Brazil, turning in an impressive display in which their high-intensity defensive approach and positive attacking unsettled their opponents.
Bayern Munich-bound Ismael Saibari scored the opening goal of the game, but the score was levelled before the break by Vini Junior.
Morocco had won eight from eight in qualifying, only conceding two goals and scoring 22. The Atlas Lions have only lost two recognised international matches in 90 minutes since the last World Cup.
Nayef Aguerd and Abde Ezzalzouli, both likely starters, are out after sustaining injuries against Norway in a pre-tournament friendly.
