I’m keen to back Kilmarnock on the double chance when they host Dundee United in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday.
Neil McCann has made Killie extremely difficult to beat at Rugby Park, underlined by the fact he has lost just one of his six home league matches in charge, that coming in a heartbreaking 3-2 defeat to Celtic in the dying moments of the game. Notably, across that six-game home sample, Kilmarnock have picked up wins over the likes of St Mirren and Aberdeen, while they also toppled league leaders Hearts.
While Dundee United will be in high spirits after beating bitter rivals Dundee 3-0 last weekend, they have been poor travellers for the most part in the Scottish Premiership this season. In fact, the Terrors have triumphed in just three of their 16 top-flight road games this term, having to settle for a 1-1 draw against Kilmarnock at this venue earlier in the campaign.
You also have to factor in that the visitors have little to play for beyond pride on Saturday, which is in stark contrast to the hosts, who are in far greater need of the points.
