Beto has been in brilliant form for Everton ever since David Moyes took over from Sean Dyche. The striker is suited to the physicality of Premier League football and has been finding the target regularly of late, having managed two shots on target in each of his last five Premier League matches.

Beto has dragged his shot on target average up dramatically over the last few weeks with a regular run in the team and is now averaging 1.81 shots on target per 90 in the Premier League this season, a record that has returned six goals for the 27-year-old.

We’ve partnered him up with Bowen here who has been leading the line alongside Mohammed Kudus in recent weeks for West Ham. Bowen is easily West Ham’s most dangerous threat in the final third as evidenced by the fact that Bowen has recorded 11 goal contributions in the Premier League this season (seven goals, four assists).

He’s averaging 1.07 shots on target per 90 across the season as a whole and should get opportunities to match if not exceed that average here given his central role for the Hammers under Graham Potter.

Marmoush has impressed in patches as he adapts to Premier League football and is well placed here to have more attempts on target than Joao Pedro. Marmoush has managed five shots on target across just 394 minutes of Premier League football for Man City this campaign (1.14 per 90).

As he starts to get more of a consistent run in the team, it’s likely that we see his shot on target count reach similar numbers as it did for Frankfurt this campaign. Marmoush averaged 2.23 shots on target per 90 across his 17 appearances in the Bundesliga for Frankfurt prior to joining City in January.

Joao Pedro is not the most shot-heavy of strikers in the Premier League. The Brighton forward is averaging 0.95 shots on target per 90 and may find clear-cut chances difficult to come by at the Etihad.

There is a discrepancy between these sides when it comes to shots on target, City are averaging 5.9 shots on target per game in the Premier League – a record only bettered by Liverpool and Chelsea this campaign – whilst Brighton are averaging 4.9 shots on target per game, suggesting that City will have the majority of the chances here.
