Glimt have enjoyed a strong start to the campaign with seven wins from their first nine matches, as they look to defend their crown from last season and record a fourth league title in five seasons.
The hosts have notched 21 goals already in the league this season, but will want to make amends for a surprise defeat to mid table Hamarkameratene last time out.
Newly promoted KFUM have also made an impressive start to life in Norway’s top tier. Three wins and four draws in their first nine matches have established the newcomers as a surprise force to be reckoned with this season.
Bodo/Glimt v KFUM Oslo Best Bets
With home advantage on their side Bodo/Glimt are the deserving favourites, although odds of 1.18 make for little appeal. This is going to be a hard slog for the Eliteserien table-toppers and in many ways, Ham-Kam have set the blueprint for how to beat them on Monday night.
We can expect a similar ‘park the bus’ and defensive approach from KFUM here and even if they lose they won’t want to concede an avalanche of goals. Considering the underlying metrics and expected style of play, 2-0 or 3-0 is probably the most likely result.
Glimt have the best xGA of any team in the league so there’s a very good chance that they won’t concede a goal, which in itself adds weight that they can cover a -1 handicap. This can be backed at odds of 1.66 and looks well within reach.
Despite KFUM Oslo’s unbeaten away record, we mustn’t forget that they are still a newly promoted team and there is a huge gulf in class. Bodo/Glimt have only conceded one goal at home all season and as aforementioned, there is a strong chance they will win this match to nil.
BTTS no at 2.0 which looks like a decent price. KFUM have been involved in the most 0-0 draws of any side in the Eliteserien and this bet would also cover for a 1-0 scoreline.
For those after a slightly bigger price than Bodo/Glimt to win to nil at 2.25 on Paddy Power which also looks generous.

⚔️ Bodo/Glimt v KFUM Oslo Team News
The home team from inside the Arctic Circle do have some injury problems but no fresh concerns. The biggest absentee will likely be key left-back Fredrik Andre Bjorkan who has been suffering from a thigh problem.
Midfielders Sondre Sorli and Sondre Fet are also carrying knocks and Fet isn’t expected back until after the June international break.
Bodo/Glimt have a big squad and could make some changes after suffering defeat on Monday. The likes of August Mikkelsen and Hakon Evjen could be in contention to start.
KFUM Oslo have a big injury doubt to defender Akinsola Akinyemi who came off just after half time on Monday. There is a good chance he will miss this game.
Left back Mathias Tonnessen is ruled out until the autumn with a knee injury and we still haven’t seen winger Obilor Okeke play a single minute yet this season. He was their top assist provider in the second-tier OBOS division last year.
Petter Nosa Dahl has been their most threatening player on the wing and should start against his parent club.
📊 Bodo/Glimt Form and Stats
It had been plain sailing for the defending champions until they suffered a shock 1-0 defeat away to Ham Kam on Monday evening. Glimt won seven of their first eight league games with the only blemish a 1-1 draw at home to big rivals Molde, which at the time just felt like a battle neither team wanted to lose.
Glimt have the best offensive and defensive record in the Eliteserien racking up 21 goals and conceding just five times. Five of their seven victories have come to nil.
It was surprising to see them lose to Ham Kam. Their defence was strong from open play and the goal they conceded was an excellent free kick.
Kjetil Knutsen’s men were heavily restricted to an xG of just 0.52 as Ham Kam forced them to shoot from distance.
It is worth mentioning that the reigning champions do have a massive xG overachievement of nearly eight goals, enormous at this early stage of the campaign. They do, however, possess some tremendous individual talents such as Albert Gronbaek and Nino Zugelj who can score a goal out of nowhere.
📊 KFUM Oslo Form and Stats
The first thing to mention is that KFUM Oslo are unbeaten away from home with three wins and one draw. They have played their best football on the road and limited opponents to just a couple of goals on their travels.
Manager Johannes Moesgaard likes to line up in a 3-4-3 formation when in possession which changes to a 5-4-1 when they don’t have the ball. This is a well disciplined side that can be hard to break down but they offer a decent threat on the counter-attack.
They recently beat the mighty Rosenborg away from home on the 16th of May, which is the equivalent of a Boxing Day round of fixtures in the UK. They won’t have any fear and will stick to their game plan to restrict Glimt as best they can.
KFUM have the fifth-best xGA in the Eliteserien and this team can’t be treated lightly. Their most recent encounter was a drab 0-0 draw at home to Odd on Monday.
Overs backers need to be alert because KFUM have been involved in the only two matches to end 0-0 in the Eliteserien so far this term.
