Brentford and Keith Andrews have really surprised me this campaign, I thought they would struggle with the loss of their club captain, manager and two biggest attacking threats all in the same window, but the club have adapted really well to those losses.

The Bees’ home form has been particularly impressive, with Brentford avoiding defeat in 10 of their 11 home games this season - only suffering defeat to Man City at the Gtech Community Stadium this term. Even that triumph for Pep Guardiola’s side wasn’t earned easily, which highlights just how difficult a trip to West London is at the moment.

Nottingham Forest look a bit nervy for me, and i’m not entirely sure that the players are in tune with what Sean Dyche wants from them. Their latest frustration came in the Europa League during the week as they fell to a 1-0 defeat against Braga. Forest have only won one of their last five matches coming into this clash and that was against a West Ham side that have been poor.

Forest have only won three of their 11 away matches in the Premier League this season, so I would be surprised if they become just the second side to win at the Gtech. Fatigue from their trip to Portugal is also likely to play a part in the outcome of this clash, as Brentford have had a full week to prepare for this encounter.

Sam Barrott is in charge of this clash and is only in his second season as a top-flight referee on the Select Group 1 list. But since making the step up to the highest level, his card rate has increased.

This season, he’s averaging 4.1 cards per game, having shown four or more in nine of his 13 league games. And in 10 of those he’s carded at least three players for this final leg of the Bet Builder.

With him having the whistle, then I’ll have to include cards, especially when both of his involvements with Nottingham Forest have seen the matches end with four – a defeat at Bournemouth and a home win over Spurs.

The Bees average 1.73 yellows per home game with Forest at 1.91 on their travels, so there’s enough juice in those figures to believe we’ll see cards. And both sides sit in the middle region of the foul charts at around the 10.5 mark.

To wrap it up, the last four meetings have produced 4, 7, 8 and 3 cards. So, there’s a good chance they’ll add to that record.

Talking of good shooting form, Neco Williams is averaging 1.29 shots per 90 under Sean Dyche and has landed this bet in nine of his last 10 games across all competitions, firing off 16 efforts during that period. He’s happiest cutting inside onto his right foot and shooting from range, and with 61% of his league shots having come from outside the box, he won’t need much encouragement to let fly.

High-flying Brentford are in excellent form themselves, but have given up 13.09 shots per game on their own patch this season, with the last four visiting teams combining for 58 efforts shots. They’ve conceded double figures for shots in each of the last four meetings with Forest, and with Williams having had shots in two of his three starts against them, we can rely on him to do so again.

Having been fouled 0.93 times per 90 since Sean Dyche took charge and drawing five offences in his last five league starts, Nikola Milenkovic looks a great price to be brought down against Brentford. The Serbian centre back is dominant in the air and, therefore, regularly finds himself on the end of a late push or stray arm from a frustrated striker who is sick of losing aerial duels with him.

In Igor Thiago, Milenkovic has the perfect matchup for winning free kicks ,as the Brazilian has committed more fouls than any other striker in the Premier League. His average of 1.85 fouls per 90 puts him 3rd amongst all outfield players for fouls this season, and when centre backs opposing the Bees have drawn nine fouls in their last seven matches, it’s easy to imagine Milenkovic getting caught late.
