Spurs have scored in six of their seven league games so far, with the exception coming against Arsenal. In fact, since Postecoglou arrived they’ve scored in 24 of their 26 home matches – the other blank coming against Man City towards the end of last season. Even in these matches they created 0.71 xG against Arsenal and 1.66 xG against Man City.
West Ham have conceded in 24 of their last 25 Premier League games. Their only clean sheet in this time came against Palace, who missed two big chances and created 1.35 xG. They also conceded in both games against Spurs last season.
West Ham have forced the opposition GK into at least two saves in six of their seven matches – this includes games against Man City, Chelsea and Aston Villa. They’ve managed three shots on target in all of their away games too. They’re actually averaging the fifth most shots in the league.
Spurs GK made two or more saves in 31/38 league games last year, including three in each game against West Ham. Interestingly, it landed in 17/19 home games. This season Spurs are facing more than three shots on target per game and have seen two or more saves land against Man Utd, Brentford, Arsenal and Leicester.
