🛑 Dortmund to commit 12+ fouls
Dortmund have a habit of hitting double figures in free kicks conceded in the Champions League this season and have given up 12 or more fouls in four of their last nine fixtures.
Although they gave away only 11 free kicks in Dortmund last week, they are likely to be pressed into more defensive work in this game, and with their style of intense pressing, being even marginally late for a challenge is likely to result in giving a free kick away.
PSG are a good team at drawing fouls. In seven of their 11 European matches this season, they have picked up at least 10 free kicks, putting them in this vicinity.
With a noisy home crowd expected this will put pressure on the referee.
🛑 Achraf Hakimi to commit 2+ fouls
Achraf Hakimi had a difficult night in Dortmund last week when he looked short of confidence and was routinely found to be coming up short defensively. The Morrocan away four fouls and this weakness could see him targeted in this encounter.
He faced off against Dortmund on three occasions already this season and has given away a total of nine fouls – including three when the sides met in Paris in September.
The right-back has given away two free kicks in six of his last 11 PSG starts.
Not only that, but he conceded at least two fouls in each of his last four Champions League games.
He’s liable to play 90 minutes given the lack of alternatives in his role.
🥅 Ousmane Dembele to score anytime 🔄️
Ousmane Dembele was one of PSG’s most dangerous players last week as he persistently got himself into good areas and had four shots on goal.
Although his finishing was wasteful last time out, he has scored four times in his last five starts for PSG.
The former Dortmund scored vital goals home and away against Barcelona in the last round, showing he has the quality to score when required.
He averages over 1 shot on target per 90 in the Champions League and has more than 3.25 shots per 90, meaning he’s likely to be in the thick of the action.
Will likely play the vast majority of the game seeing as he has played at least 80 minutes of nine of the 10 Champions League matches he has featured in this season.

💰 A £2.50 punt returns £83 for this bet.
✅ PSG (-1) handicap
PSG have never lost at home to Borussia Dortmund and were much the better side during a 2-0 win over the German outfit at Parc des Princes when the sides met in September.
Luis Enrique’s side come into this game entirely fresh, having been given the luxury of the weekend off to prepare themselves for this fixture.
The Parisians boast tremendous scoring power and have created 6.9xG across their three fixtures against BVB this season. In contrast, the Germans have just 3.8xG.
They have won three of five Champions League matches in the French capital this season by at least two goals: Dortmund, Milan, and Real Sociedad.
🥅 Niclas Füllkrug to score anytime 🔄️
PSG found Füllkrug’s physical style a nightmare to defend against last week. The centre-forward’s physicality and sheer power gave the central defenders off the French side major problems.
As well as scoring the only goal of the game, the German striker had five shots. If given opportunities of this quality again, he will surely take one. Given the way that Jadon Sancho played last week, completing 13 dribbles, the 31-year-old is likely to get a good supply of ammunition.
He has scored in three of his last four games, including two in the Champions League.
He was not used at the weekend, suggesting that he will be given much of this game to make an impact.
🛑 Ian Maatsen to commit 2+ fouls
Ian Maatsen liable to be given a major defensive test against Ousmane Dembele in this encounter.
The Dutchman already has six yellow cards for Dortmund, despite having played only 15 games since joining on loan from Chelsea in January.
He’s been booked in four of his last five matches – despite playing just 45 minutes in Bundesliga fixtures against Borussia Monchengladbach and Bayer Leverkusen.
The former Burnley man doesn’t have a lot of experience at this level. He had not played a European knockout tie before this season. The right-back strong attacking in the first leg but had more difficulties when placed on the back foot, where he is likely to find himself more in this game.
