The Cottagers and Liverpool have been familiar foes this season and their encounter in West London this weekend will be their fourth meeting of the campaign following tussles in the top tier and Carabao Cup semi-finals.
Liverpool have failed to win on any of their last three visits to Craven Cottage, though anything other than a victory there on Sunday would all but scupper any remaining hopes they have of delivering a Premier League title for Jurgen Klopp ahead of the German’s summer exit.

🏆 Match stats: Goals at both ends likely
Fulham have already gone toe-to-toe with Liverpool three times this season in a trio of competitive clashes between the clubs in the Premier League and Carabao Cup semis. Both teams managed to get in on the goalscoring act in each contest and that pattern could be maintained in their fourth and final meeting of the campaign.
Premier League clean sheets have been tough to come by for Liverpool since the turn of the year, indeed, the Reds have claimed only two in 13 attempts in the top tier since January 1st, while BTTS landed in ten of the same matches.
With Jurgen Klopp’s charges likely to be fatigued after their exertions in Italy on Thursday evening, Fulham – who’ve already beaten Arsenal and Tottenham at home this term – will fancy their chances of giving Liverpool another run for their money, so look for goals to be scored at both ends again.
Liverpool have failed to win five of their last nine games in all competitions and could be running out of gas with the finish line in sight. However, while brave bettors might be attracted to Fulham in the double chance market, taking Fulham with a (+2) handicap might be a better way to go.
The Cottagers would have delivered the goods with a two-goal head start in 12 of their last 13 Premier League home fixtures and Fulham haven’t lost a home game against Liverpool since 2019, with each of the last three meetings between the sides at Craven Cottage ended all square.
Predictions:
⚽ Both teams to score @ 1.50
⚽ Fulham (+2) handicap @ 1.57
🎯 Shooting stats: Track Muniz and a trio of Liverpool players
Premier League Player of the Month for March, Rodrigo Muniz, has been a revelation since forcing his way into the Fulham XI in February and the Brazilian forward, who has notched eight times in 11 appearances, has been a proper handful for defenders.
The 22-year-old racked up three shots on target against West Ham last weekend and Muniz has hit the target with an attempt in 11 of his last 12 appearances in the Premier League overall. Look for the in-form striker to test compatriot Alisson at least once again on Sunday.
For Liverpool, dangerous pair Harvey Elliot and Diogo Jota could be the ones to back in the same bracket at Muniz. Both players saw just 30 minutes or so of action as substitutes in Bergamo in midweek, though starting roles could be earned on Sunday if Jurgen Klopp opts to freshen things up.
Former Fulham youngster Elliott should get a warm reception on his return to Craven Cottage, though the gifted 21-year-old has the temperament to play through the jeers. Elliott aimed a shot on target in each of his last two Premier League appearances and he can do the same in West London.
Diogo Jota meanwhile, has been feeling his way back to full fitness, though he managed to muster four shots when he faced Fulham in January and he could threaten the Cottagers with at least one accurate attempt if he gets the nod against them on Sunday.
Darwin Nunez represents another solid option for shortlists in the 3+ shots realm. The erratic Uruguayan has faced Fulham three times already this season and he hit three or more attempts on each occasion.
Predictions:
🔄️⚽ Rodrigo Muniz to have 1+ shots on target @ 1.40
🔄️⚽ Harvey Elliot to have 1+ shots on target @ 1.44
🔄️⚽ Diogo Jota to have 1+ shots on target @ 1.25
⚽ Darwin Nunez to have 3+ shots @ 1.40
🚩 Corner stats: Fulham represent better value
Only Man City (7.78) have been winning more corners per Premier League fixture on average than Liverpool (7.50) this season, however, the Reds haven’t been able to dominate that metric in meetings with Fulham this term.
Indeed, in the three previous encounters between the sides in 2023/24, Fulham won the corner count twice, including in the Cottagers’ 1-1 draw with Liverpool in West London January (4-2).
Marco Silva’s side have been earning corners at a steady pace at home this season, averaging 6.56 corners per Premier League fixture at Craven Cottage on average and you can back Fulham to win four or more corners at Liverpool’s expense at an attractive 1.53 on Sunday.
If you’re determined to include a total corners leg in your bet builder, approach the market with caution. While Fulham’s Premier League home games (11.06 avg) and Liverpool’s away matches (11.59 avg) have seen plenty of corners overall, it’s worth noting that the teams’ three meetings this term featured an average of just 7.33 corners per contest.
That trend suggests it might be wiser to steer clear of the total corners market, with value there hard to find.
Predictions:
⚽ Over 3.5 Fulham corners @ 1.53
🛑 Fouls stats: Mac Allister and Palhinha among the best contenders
While it often goes under the radar, Liverpool have been one of the Premier League’s worst offenders this season when it comes to fouling opponents and the Reds rank fifth in the division for average fouls committed per game (12.10).
The title hopefuls committed 13 fouls when they last faced Fulham in January and they have also racked up double-figure foul tallies in 12 of their last 17 fixtures in all competitions.
Backing Liverpool to clock 11 or more fouls again on Sunday could be a niche way to add oomph to your bet builder, while serial offender, Alexis Mac Allister, has serious credentials in the 2+ fouls department.
The Argentinean midfielder, who fouled twice in each of Liverpool’s last two meetings with Fulham, has also committed two or more fouls in three of his last four Premier League appearances in red.
For Fulham, the equally combative Joao Palhinha is the standout choice. In three runouts against Liverpool this season, the Portuguese anchorman committed four, two and two fouls respectively and his passion for crunching challenges could be on show again on Sunday.
The 28-year-old committed three fouls in Fulham’s triumph over West Ham last weekend and a similar haul could be in the pipeline for Palhinha against possession-hungry Liverpool.
Predictions:
⚽ Liverpool to commit 11+ fouls @ 1.50
⚽ Alexis Mac Allister commit 2+ fouls @ 2.00
⚽ Joao Palhinha to commit 2+ fouls @ 1.73
