The George Boughey-trained AIR TO AIR is still a relatively unexposed handicapper who has been threatening to win a big prize this term. He ran an excellent race, although midfield, in a valuable Ascot event prior to a neck second in a four-runner affair last time at Doncaster. That race was not run to suit that day, with a modest pace throughout. The Toronado gelding is expected to go close with an honest gallop likely with numerous pace angles, which should offer the selection a perfect toe into the race.
