The Super Bowl champion Eagles head into this game off the back of consecutive defeats to the Broncos and Giants. They’ll look to get their season back on track against a Vikings team that played in London two weeks ago and is now coming off their bye week. These are two strong, well-coached teams, so it promises to be a fascinating matchup.

4 Selections @ 4.88

Jordan Mason 50+ Rushing Yards @ 1.25

With Aaron Jones still sidelined, Jordan Mason is positioned to take on the workhorse role for Minnesota once again. He’s had an up-and-down season so far but has still managed to go over 50 rushing yards in all three games without Jones to split touches with. He has also faced some of the tougher rush defences in the league, including the Browns in week five.

Mason has had a bye week to prepare for an Eagles rush defence that certainly isn’t as intimidating as either of his previous two matchups. The Super Bowl champions have been gashed on the ground repeatedly this season. They gave up 98 rushing yards and three touchdowns to Cam Skattebo last week, as well as 79 yards to JK Dobbins and 94 yards to Kyren Williams. I expect a big game from Mason, reminiscent of his 116-yard performance against the Bengals earlier this season.

Justin Jefferson 5+ Receptions @ 1.33

Despite JJ McCarthy being back at practice this week, Carson Wentz was announced as the starter for this game, which is actually great news for Justin Jefferson. The veteran quarterback has hyper-targeted Jefferson in his three starts so far this season, throwing an average of 9.7 passes to the elite wide receiver per game. That volume has resulted in Jefferson hitting the five-reception mark in every game with Wentz.

The Eagles' pass defence doesn’t present as much of a challenge as it did last year, and they’ve given up some big games to lesser receivers than Jefferson this season, including six receptions for 84 yards to Wan’Dale Robinson last week and eight receptions for 99 yards to Courtland Sutton in week five. Jefferson will assume his customary role as the number one option for Wentz and shouldn’t have any problems racking up some volume here.

Jalen Hurts Anytime Touchdown @ 2.00

It might be a much-maligned and highly controversial play, but the Tush Push certainly makes Jalen Hurts anytime touchdown an attractive addition to any bet builder. The Super Bowl MVP has scored five rushing touchdowns in six games so far this season, and the Eagles are certainly not afraid of going back to the well. They ran the Tush Push on four consecutive plays last week against the Giants, eventually getting Hurts into the endzone.

There aren’t a huge amount of indicators as to whether a matchup is necessarily good or bad for Hurts’ chances of scoring through this method, but he has scored rushing touchdowns from further out this season, most notably in week one against Dallas. Minnesota’s pass defence has been stout, holding Ja’Marr Chase to 50 yards and Drake London to 49. As a result, we could see Hurts using his legs a bit more in this game.

Jordan Addison 25+ Receiving Yards @ 1.20

It’s been a strange season for Jordan Addison, who came back from suspension in week four, only to be benched for the first quarter of the week five clash with the Browns in London for disciplinary reasons. Nevertheless, he’s looked his usual self when he’s been on the field, totalling 155 yards in the two games he’s played this season.

Addison often flies under the radar due to playing across from Justin Jefferson, but he has quietly been one of the most reliable second options in the NFL. He’s averaging 77.5 yards per game this season and managed an average of 58.3 last year. What makes the 25-yard number so attractive is his big-play potential. Addison has averaged over 13 yards per catch in each of his NFL seasons and over four receptions per game, putting him in a good spot to go over that number against the Eagles.
