Saarbrücken v Würzburger

We see a decent placed Saarbrücken side face off against struggling Würzburger Kickers in the German 3. Liga. I'm expecting a home win here with Saarbrücken in fifth position, trailing second ranked Kaiserslautern by just two points.

They have also done well at home lately, securing 10 points from their last four home games played. Saarbrucken are not facing any major injury troubles and can select Alex Grimaldi (11 goals) and Julian Günther-Schmidt (7 goals) who should provide the attacking sparks, and Minos Gouras is also available with six goals scored, but he could sit on the bench again.

Meanwhile Würzburger are in deep trouble. They are second bottom. The side trail the clubs in the safety zone by 5 points and have secured just three wins so far this season. They have also scored a league worst 16 goals so far.

Leadingman  Marvin Pourié has scored four. He was persona non grata and the club tried to get rid of him, but they have failed to do so and he now remains with the club.

Würzburger Kickers have signed a few more players in their battle against relegation of the past weeks, but they are still a question mark as to how fit they currently are, so I don't expect a major impact.

Therefore, I can see the home side come out on top victorious.

Zwickau v Viktoria Cologne

This is a Round 21 postponed fixture, in a current mid-table battle. Both sides have secured 29 points so far, but Zwickau needed two games less to accomplish this.

Zwickau have a league high number of draws; 11 and they also have a goal difference of +1. Zwickau have won two straight, beating both Braunschweig and Meppen recently, both Top 6 sides. Zwickau will look to take advantage of their main attacking players, Dominic Baumann (6), Johan Gómez (5) and Marco Schikora (5) have combined for 16 goals. Marco Göbel is injured (18 apps), but shouldn't be missed too dearly.

Viktoria Köln also have 29 points but they needed 24 games instead of Zwickau's 22. Viktoria also have a goal difference of -11, allowing no less than 40 goals so far this season. They have lost only one of their last four though. Niklas May (19 apps) is suspended after collecting a red card against TSV 1860 München.mFirst-choice  goalkeeper Moritz Nicolas is also out, as is Nicolas Lorch (21 apps) and Leon Jastrzemski (7 apps) to the fold and you can tell Viktoria are struggling with a balanced line-up. Viktoria Köln vs Zwickau saw a 1-1 full time score earlier this season.

I expect this match to feature more than 2.5 goals scored. Zwickau have been involved in matches with more than 2.5 goals in five of their last seven occasions. Viktoria Köln in four of their last seven, but they have also allowed no less than 40 goals.
