Level 1 Bet Builder Tip
✅🤝 Notts County Double Chance
📈 Odds: 1.25
Notts County come into this game knowing that if they win and results elsewhere go their way, they could find themselves in the automatic promotion spots by the end of the day. They have won or drawn 13 of their 18 league games at Meadow Lane this season, but two of their five defeats have occurred in their last two home games, so they need to put in a performance in front of their own fans.
Crewe are a big reason behind wanting to have the draw on side here, given only Colchester have drawn more games than them in League Two this season. Over half of their away games have been drawn, with four defeats.
They have only won two games away from home against sides in the top half of the table, and the best of those is currently 9th in the table. It’d be a surprise if they won, but they could snatch a draw.
🥅 Both Teams to Score
📈 Odds: 1.72
Despite not fancying Crewe to win the game, we think there’s a good chance they will get themselves on the scoresheet. They have scored in each of their last five games, finding the net nine times in total.
They’ve only kept one clean sheet in that time, against the leagues 2nd lowest away scorers in Barrow, so it is difficult to see them keeping out Notts County, who have the second highest xG in League Two.
The Magpies have scored in six of their last seven games, only failing away to AFC Wimbledon, who have conceded the 2nd fewest home goals.
🥅 Over 2.5 Goals
📈 Odds: 1.85
Notts County’s last three home games have seen both both teams score and three or more goals in the match. As we are getting towards the business end of the season, County’s defence, which looked transformed from last season, is beginning to creak a little.
As far as the Visitors go, their away games have generally been very low scoring this season. Crewe have scored exactly one goal per game on the road, whilst they have conceded just 17 in 19 games. However, their games have also opened up lately, with five of their last eight covering this bet.
Although their last two games both finished 1-1, there were 39 total shots in the Salford game and 27 in the Doncaster game, which would ordinarily result in three goals being scored.
⚽ David McGoldrick to Score Anytime 🔛
📈 Odds: 3.10
Only two players in League Two have a better goals per 90 ratio than David McGoldrick. One of those is Nathan Lowe, who was recalled back to Stoke in January from Walsall. The other is currently at Walsall, Danny Johnson, who has played very few minutes but scored four goals coming off the bench this season.
McGoldrick has played more minutes than both, and therefore nobody in the division has a better ratio who has played as many minutes as McGoldrick. He played his first minutes in the last two games since the February 1st, scoring against Grimsby when coming on a sub for the last 20 minutes.
He has scored six goals in his last 10 appearances and with Alassana Jatta away on international duty, McGoldrick will be the main man Notts look to for goals here.
