Fiorentina v Juventus
🏟
Saturday 3rd September – 2:00PM KO
There is a world where this is a fixture full of goals because there is some serious talent in both squads. Looking at how the two sides have played so far this season though, it could be better to play it safe with this one.
Massimiliano Allegri’s Juventus do not get drawn into matches that resemble basketball very often and they will certainly want to avoid that at the Stadio Artemio Franchi where the atmosphere will be extremely tense. It is likely that they will do all they can to grab a goal or two in the first half and then they will not be letting La Viola have a sniff of goal.
There are some seriously strong attacking players at Vincenzo Italiano’s disposal but they are not firing on all cylinders this season so far, having netted just three times as a team. It already looks like European football will not be theirs next season given their form is poor and they have not started their Europa Conference League campaign yet.
Dusan Vlahovic has been in superb form for Juventus and he will want nothing more than to score against his former side and continue to justify the move that he made in January. This game will feel like a big occasion due to the hatred that Fiorentina hold for Juve, but it is unlikely to be one that is awash with goals

AC Milan vs Inter
🏟
Saturday 3rd September – 5:00PM KO
This is certainly the game of the weekend although there are a couple of other scorchers to get stuck into as well. Neither of these teams have quite had the start to the season that they may have expected and that means that there is an air of unpredictability about this Derby della Madonnina which kicks off at 17:00 BST on Saturday, September 3.
AC Milan come into this game perhaps more in need of a win than their city rivals. They experienced their second draw in four games as they were held away at Sassuolo in midweek. They looked a lot blunter in attack than many expected but there have been glimpses that the goals will start to flow soon. They were very impressive against Bologna and Udinese but could only get one goal against Atalanta and none against Sassuolo.
Inter suffered their first setback by losing to Lazio last weekend but they looked much better at home to Cremonese in midweek, winning 3-1. They will be without Romelu Lukaku through injury but regardless of that, the need for both teams to win and the fact that it is a derby with so many talented players on the pitch means that the recipe for goals is there.
Neither team will want to see AS Roma get too much of a lead at the top so early on.

Lazio vs Napoli
🏟
Saturday 3rd September – 7:45PM KO
This is another superb game that fans can look forward to this weekend as two sides that have been entertainers for years go head to head.
Napoli have made a very impressive start to the season and although they drew with Fiorentina 0-0 on matchday three, they were full of goals and entertainment when they faced Hellas Verona and Monza. They got nine goals in those games. New signing Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has hit the ground running and looks to be a seriously exciting young attacker. Lazio will have their work cut out if they want to stop the Georgian from influencing the game. Victor Osimhen has already been amongst the goals and the midfield certainly looks capable of getting involved too. Azzurri boss Luciano Spalletti will be expecting to find the back of the net at the Stadio Olimpico.
As for Maurizio Sarri’s Lazio, they are certainly not a team that shies away from scoring goals. When Ciro Immobile is on the pitch, there could be a goal at any moment.
They were seriously impressive in the 3-1 win over Inter last weekend and whilst they’re a team that regularly threatens something more than they usually end up with, they looked like a team that can get into the top four.
They’ll be determined to get the better of Napoli and set out their stall for a Champions League place.
