Level 1 Bet Builder Tip

🥅 Both Teams to Score

📈 Odds: 1.90

These two sides have been leaky of late. Looking back over each side's last 15 league games, they only have six clean sheets between them out of a possible 30.

Despite their failings at one end of the pitch, both are adept at scoring goals, with each scoring in 12 of their last 15 league games.

In those three games where Sheffield United failed to score, their shot counts were 17, 15 and 25, so with a bit more luck or better finishing, they could have easily found the next, given the quantity of chances created.

Similar can be said, when taking out the Leeds game, who barely let any team have many shots, the two other games they have failed to score in saw them take double-figure shots.

🥅 Over 1.5 Sheffield United Goals

📈 Odds: 1.72

Of Sheffield United’s 21 home games this season, they have scored more than once on nine occasions.

If we take a look at the opposition in those nine games, seven of those have come against sides in the bottom half of the table.

Cardiff have conceded two or more goals on ten occasions away from home. They have played the other top four teams home and away, and conceded twice in all six games, and conceded twice against The Blades in the reverse fixture.

The Sheffield United crowd will be up for this one, and we are envisaging a similar attacking thrust to that shown in the home game against Coventry.

🚀 Sydie Peck to have 1+ Shots ↔️

📈 Odds: 1.50

Sydie Peck usually operate as one of Sheffield United’s double pivot, usually alongside a more defence minded partner such as Vini De Souza or Hamza Choudhury.

You couldn’t go as far as describing Peck as a goal threat, considering he hasn’t scored yet this season, but he is getting closer. In his last five games, he has taken eleven shots, with at least one in each game. He also averages 1 per 90 over the course of the season.

Peck has started the last nine games for Chris Wilder’s side, so we should have a live runner here.

🚀 Yousef Salech to have 1+ Shots ↔️

📈 Odds: 1.20

Danish striker Salech has done well since joining Cardiff in January, scoring five times and regularly being chosen to lead the line for The Bluebirds.

He is not scared of taking a pot shot, having had a shot on goal in all ten games he has started, and even in three of the six games he has appeared in as a substitute.

Sheffield United have conceded a shot to the main striker of the last six opponents they have faced, with two of them scoring.

With the sub on play on promotion with Bet365, we may also get Yakou Meite on side, who has replaced Salech in three of the last five games. Despite only playing 90 minutes as a substitute across five games, Meite has till manage to have eight attempts on goal.

Level 2 Bet Builder Tip

🏆 Sheffield United to Win

📈 Odds: 1.57

Sheffield United have won 14 of their 21 home league games this season. It has generally been the top sides that they have struggled against, with five of the seven teams who have taken away a point or more from Bramall Lane are in the top half of the table.

They may have lost three games in a row, and people will rightly question their mettle at the business end of the season, but they could quite easily have won all three of those games and have made a habit of picking up wins from tight games all season.

Cardiff have not offered up much resistance to the leagues top sides this season, losing to Leeds, Burnley and Sunderland away from home. They have won just twice away from home, but have achieved draws in over half of their assignments on the road.

Sheffield United, if playing up to their level, should be too strong.

🎯 Yousef Salech to have 1+ Shots on Target ↔️

📈 Odds: 2.10

In the first bet builder, we took Salech to have a shot, and in this one, we’re taking him to hit the target with a shot, a feat he has managed in seven of the ten games he has started.

Looking back at his record in Sweden, from 2024, he also registered a shot on target in 15 of his 24 starts in the Allsvenskan.

The Blades have conceded three or more shots on target in each of their last five home games, and given that Salech is likely to be Cardiff’s starting striker, you would expect him to be someone who could take advantage.

🚀 Sydie Peck to have 2+ Shots ↔️

📈 Odds: 3.25

Peck has been trying his luck more often for Sheffield United in recent weeks, as talked about in bet builder 1, and we think he is value to have two attempts at goal in this game.

The midfielder is priced up at 3.25 for this bet, but has covered it in five out of his fifteen starts at Bramall Lane, so 1 33% ratio, which should see him priced at 2/1 or less given the standard of opposition The Blades come up against here.

In three of Peck’s last five games, this bet would have landed, so we feel confident he can get more shots off in this one.
