I’m going for it. I think Spurs slip up again here. Burnley have been far from impressive, but the two draws against Man United and Liverpool show that they really can shut big sides down and cause problems. Their physicality will be a real issue for Spurs, and despite a poor return overall, Turf Moor is never an easy trip.

Burnley have taken nine points from 11 home league games compared to five from the same amount away. Yes, Spurs have a good away record, but it’s fallen apart recently, and the defeats to Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth are particularly alarming, with those two sides both occupying spots at the lower end of the table.

The extra midweek football, although positive in result, also adds another layer of difficulty for Spurs. Combine that with the mounting injury list, and the loss of Lucas Bergvall and there has to be concern.

Thomas Frank has shown that he struggles against sides who are more disciplined and allow Tottenham to have the ball, seemingly being much better suited to managing sides who have to counter-attack.

I really fancy Burnley to get something from this game, and I do think they’ll have spells where they’ll put the visitors under pressure. Two saves isn’t a huge ask here, Tottenham have conceded an average of 3.86 shots on target per 90 this season and Vicario has an average above the two saves we need here, at 2.59 per 90.

He’s made 2+ saves in seven of his last eight Premier League games, only failing to do so when he conceded three times from three Bournemouth shots in the 3-2 defeat to The Cherries. Burnley have also forced 2+ saves from their opponents GK in six of their last 10 matches.

With Anthony, Edwards and Broja in attack, there is enough for Burnley to make a real fist of this, and I’m just so far from convinced by Spurs, particularly in defence. They’ve conceded in each of their last five matches, prior to the midweek win over Dortmund.

The left-sided attacker is a key figure for Burnley. He’s probably their most creative and direct outlet and he draws plenty of fouls for them, which is key, allowing them to get up the pitch and also providing set-piece opportunities.

He’s been fouled 28 times this season, that's six more than the next most fouled Burnley player, and his average of 1.87 fouls drawn is also really solidm and that’s what drew me in to this selection. Fouls drawn in his last six look like this: 2, 3, 1, 3, 2, 4.

He’s also committed a foul himself in three of those six matches, and the only time this selection has lost in the last six, was when he played just 33 minutes. The potential of a foul from himself is a nice bonus here, with Anthony averaging exactly 1.00 fouls per 90 minutes. Pedro Porro brings a nice consistency to this as his direct opponent, as he averages 1.92 foul involvements per 90.

The Portuguese midfielder was unbelievable against Liverpool. He was everywhere, winning tackles and breaking up play and he even got himself an assist.

He was brought in to be that aggressive midfield enforcer, and he does that job very well. It comes with the territory that he commits plenty of fouls. He’s averaged 1.67 per 90 in the Premier League this season, and his 26 total fouls are the most of any player in the Burnley squad, narrowly edging out Kyle Walker (25).

Involvements also include fouls drawn. Now he’s not a huge contributor here, averaging just 0.33 per 90 - but it does give us just a slightly wider net for this selection.

This pick has landed in three of his last four matches. And although he isn’t huge for drawing fouls, he is against a Spurs midfield who do get stuck in - none more so than Connor Gallagher, he’s well known for getting fired in, and he committed two fouls on his Premier League return last time out.
