Tunisia have been one of the worst sides defensively at the World Cup so far, so this should be a simple win for Netherlands.

Ronald Koeman's side have scored seven goals in their two games so far, while Tunisia have conceded nine across theirs.

📁 Tunisia v Netherlands Cheat Sheet

Generic

📈 Tunisia Recent Form

Tunisia had a convincing qualifying run to the World Cup, as they topped their CAF group, but they have struggled to compete on the big stage.

They weren’t given an easy draw by any means in Group F, but the manner in which they have lost both games so far has been disappointing. Individual errors have been a key theme for Tunisia so far, and they haven’t done themselves any favours. Their performance against Japan last time out was particularly lacklustre - Tunisia managed just two shots, of which neither hit the target.

📈 Netherlands Recent Form

Netherlands went into the World Cup with plenty of momentum, having comfortably topped their qualifying group, before then dominating their warm-up friendlies prior to the tournament. However, they were dealt a bit of a reality check against Japan, who were able to snatch a 2-2 draw in the dying embers, as they scored from a corner.

However, Koeman’s men bounced back from that result with a 5-1 win against Sweden. Even though the game wasn’t as one-sided as that scoreline suggests, the Netherlands deserve credit for how efficient they were in front of goal - they managed 10 shots, of which seven were on target, and five hit the back of the net.
