After winning two bet builders on the weekend, I’ve been balls deep in another write up for tonight’s Monday Night Football. We’re off to the Molineux to round off game week 10 in the Premier League. Big Rafa Benitez had a fairly strong start to the season with Everton, but it looks like the wheels are starting to fall off as they’ve gone 6 games with only 1 win, that win was against perhaps one of the worst sides I’ve ever seen in the English top flight (sorry Norwich fans). They’ll be up against Bruno Lage’s Wolves, who’ve been pretty hit and miss since the start of the season but seem to be picking up a few solid results recently. Their biggest issue seems to be keeping the ball out their net, they’ve failed to keep a clean sheet in all of their home games so far. If there’s one thing I’m expecting tonight, it’s goals. Especially with the expected return of Richarlison (Wolves are the PL side he’s scored the most goals against, with 5 in just 6 meetings). Scroll down to see how I’ve used my cheat sheet to pick out my favourite bet builder tips and predictions for the game, you could even back them as singles.

Richarlison to be Score Anytime v Wolves
If there’s one thing Richarlison loves, it’s a goal against Wolves (and a booking). As I mentioned before he’s smashed in 5 goals against them in just 6 appearances and I think 3.75 is a huge price to score anytime. Earlier in the season Rafa said that the Brazilian would have priority for penalties, and with him set to return tonight it looks like he’ll be pushing Townsend to the side if the opportunity comes. With Dominic Calvert-Lewin still out, it’s likely Richarlison will be Everton’s main focus of attack, it only took him 3 minutes to score in his last game and I’m pretty happy backing him to add to his goal tally tonight.
I did some digging into my cheat sheet and he’s not shy for having a pop, he’s averaging 2.37 shots per game and with such a leaky Wolves defence who are yet to keep a clean sheet at home in the league, he should be getting a few chances that he hopefully manages to convert. He’s also the same price (3.75) for 2+ shots on target which could be an alternative.

Both Teams to Score in Wolves v Everton
Goals, goals and more goals should be on the agenda tonight. Maybe I’m a bit too optimistic but I think we should see a real end to end game, both sides know how deadly they can be on the attack and despite sounding like a broken record, the return of Richarlison will be huge for Everton. Neither side has managed a clean sheet in their past 3 games, and although Everton have been pretty lacklustre recently, they’ve not been shy of scoring. They’re actually one of the league’s highest scorers, averaging 1.66 a game, the joint highest outside of the current top 5.
Wolves are coming in as favourites, mainly due to their unbeaten run but that doesn’t change the fact they’ve been sh*te at home. New signing Hee-Chan Hwang should play a major role though, he’s been pretty impressive since arriving on loan from RB Leipzig, with 4 in his last 6 League matches. Wolves have had both teams score in 4 of their last 5 matches, and they’re now facing an Everton side who’ve just had 5 goals smashed past them by a newly promoted Watford side. There’s no doubt Wolves can get a result, I just don’t think tonight is the night they keep their first clean sheet at home.

Romain Saiss to be Booked v Everton
Saiss is such a little sh*t, trust me. He’s been averaging 0.31 bookings per game since arriving at Wolves and already has 3 in just 9 league games so far this season. Back in the 19/20 season, he actually managed 13 bookings in the league, to put that into context, John McGinn managed 12 cards last season and played 4 more matches and we know how much of a ‘banker’ McGinn is.
It’s not just his card stats that look good either, he’s actually going to be up against the most fouled Everton players: Richarlison averages 2.14 fouls drawn per game, with Townsend drawing 2.05. Both of these should be attacking down Saiss’ side tonight and I can see him losing his head. He looks great on the cheat sheet, he’s committing 1.19 fouls per game and is one of the favourites to be booked tonight. I’m definitely happy adding him in at over 2/1, it’s a great price.
