🎩 Andy Robson’s Saturday Treble Tips & Predictions
Turkey v Wales
Our expert is has tipped goals in their Both Teams to Score predictions for this one:
‘Turkey and Wales are set to meet in what promises to be a thrilling encounter in UEFA Nations League B Group 4, with both teams vying for the top spot and a potential promotion to the higher tier. Turkey come into this match in excellent form, having won their last three games. Wales, meanwhile, are unbeaten in their last four, with two of those fixtures resulting in victories.
The betting odds of 1.83 for both teams to score reflect the attacking quality of both sides and their recent form. Turkey have seen both teams score in 7 of their last 10 matches, with their attack firing on all cylinders. Their recent attacking form has been impressive, but defensively, they have often left gaps that opponents have exploited. Similarly, Wales saw both teams score in 2 of their last 3 matches.
Turkey’s home advantage and strong offensive lineup should give them the edge, but Wales have the attacking talent to exploit any defensive vulnerabilities.
With both teams in need of points to secure their spot at the top of the group, expect an open and exciting match with chances at both ends, making the 1.83 price for both teams to score excellent value.’
Netherlands v Hungary
Our Nations League expert Ronald Koeman’s Netherlands to overcome the Hungarians on Saturday night:
‘Remaining in the same group as Germany and Bosnia, the two sides immediately behind them meet in what could be the pivotal match in the race for the second quarter final spot when the Netherlands host Hungary.
The Netherlands begin the international break ahead of Hungary on goal difference and the advantage is such that a win here will all but see the Dutch into the last eight so the onus is on Hungary to come up with something and get a win before they host Germany in their last game.
That is going to be hard against a Netherlands side who have so many really good defensive options and who have Frenkie de Jong available to control the centre of the pitch.
Hungary have only won one of their last eight away matches and got thrashed 5-0 in Germany earlier in this group. The Dutch have won five and drawn the other in their last six home games and just look on paper a much stronger side to Hungary.
Adding the Netherlands into the accumulator feels like a safe play here.’
Sweden v Slovakia
We close out this weekend’s selections in Scandinavia, as our Nations League expert predicts Sweden to dispatch Slovakia:
‘Sweden and Slovakia begin the international break knowing that they will finish in the top two of their group but they will go closer to finalising who will win the group and take the automatic promotion spot when they meet on Saturday evening.
Sweden always looked like they would be too strong for League C of this competition and that is how it has proved but the same can be said of Slovakia too and the only points either have dropped was when they drew 2-2 in Bratislava last month.
Sweden were 2-0 up in that match before they let it slip but they were also without Alexander Isak, who since then has caught fire in the Premier League.
He will return and partner with arguably the hottest property in Europe right now in the form of Viktor Gyokeres and it is fair to say that Slovakia have nothing like that level of firepower.
Sweden have won five of their last six at home and look to be getting back to the standards they should be showing under Jon-Dahl Tomasson. They look good things to round off the Saturday night accumulator.’
