Atletico Madrid started the season well with a 2-0 win over Malaga in front of their own fans, notable for a goal from their new signing - Kang In Lee.

Atletico Madrid only lost three of their 19 home games in LaLiga last season, winning 15 of these matches. They scored 39 goals across these games (2.05 per game), with only Real Madrid (16) and Barcelona (10) conceding fewer goals in front of their own fans.

Villarreal did have a good season last year but have changed their manager over the summer, which is likely to lead to a bit of a transition process which was evident last week as they dropped points to a newly promoted Racing Santander side.

Palmeiras sit three points clear at the summit of the Brazilian Serie A and will look to maintain their title push as they take on a Vasco De Gama side who currently sit in the relegation zone.

Palmeiras have only lost one of their 11 home games in the league this season, winning seven of these matches. They’ve only conceded eight goals across these games which will be a real concern for Vasco De Gama given that they are yet to win a single game on the road this season.

Palmeiras have won each of the last three head to head meetings between the teams as the home side to nil - and a similar outcome is likely here.

It’s a new era at AC Milan with Ruben Amorim leading the club into the new season. He’s probably a bit relieved that he managed to secure his first win with his new side in pre-season over Manchester United last time out, and they should have enough quality to beat Torino here.

Torino finished mid-table last season, failing to win 12 of their 19 home matches. AC Milan did have an inconsistent campaign, but notably had the second strongest away record of any side in the division - only Inter Milan, the eventual champions, picked up more points on the road than AC Milan in Serie A last season.

AC Milan only lost three of their 19 away games in this spell, beating Torino both home and away by the same scoreline (3-2).

Copenhagen are enjoying a remarkable run of form at the moment having avoided defeat in each of their last 14 matches across all competitions, winning 11 of these games.

The away side have scored more goals across their opening three matches than any other side in the Superligaen (10), with two of these games being away from home.

Viborg have made a decent start to the campaign themselves, but do tend to struggle against Copenhagen having lost each of the last three head to head meetings between the sides.

Lille beat Angers in both head to head meetings between the sides last season, coming away 1-0 winners on both occasions.

Lille have actually beaten Angers to nil in each of the last four head to head meetings between these two teams - giving them a slight psychological edge ahead of this encounter.

Lille finished third in Ligue 1 last season, behind Lens and PSG, notably boasting the second best away record in the division.

They scored 28 goals across their 17 away matches (1.64 per game), which is a scoring power that Angers will struggle to match given that they only scored 18 goals across their 17 home games last campaign.
