Sticking with goals but this time it’s over 2.5 in Kilmarnock v St Mirren.

Killie are leaking goals and while it’s early days, they already look nailed on to fall into that bottom two come the end of the season.

They’ve played three Premiership matches and conceded 13 goals. Even in their League Cup game at home to Championship side Ayr United, they conceded twice.

Astonishingly, they have faced 64 shots from opponents in just three league games.

Saturday’s game was at home to Dundee United, who are in no great shakes themselves, yet United still put four past them from 18 shots, with eight on target.

Killie are creating chances themselves. They had 14 shots and four on target on Saturday, although that only amounted to 0.93 xG.

They also found the net against Celtic and scored three against St Johnstone, so the problem is definitely their inability to shut the opposition out.

St Mirren have made a strong start to the season with two wins and a draw from their opening three games. Only one of those has gone over 2.5 goals, their most recent match against Motherwell, where they drew 3-3 on Sunday.

However, in their opening 2-0 win against Falkirk, they were very fortunate with Falkirk having what looked like a legitimate goal ruled out.

Then, in the 1-0 win against St Johnstone, St Johnstone missed a penalty.

I’m confident this one will be full of goals. Over 2.5 is the bet.

The Tayside derby is back in the Premiership and I’m taking goals in this one.

This is Dundee’s fourth game of the season and while BTTS might have only landed once, there has been no shortage of chances for the Dees.

In their opening game, they lost 1-0 away to Celtic but still created 1.28 xG from nine attempts, with two on target.

They then beat city rivals Dundee United 2-0 away from home in a game where they were very fortunate to keep a clean sheet, with United racking up 2.25 xG from 23 attempts and four on target.

The other game that didn’t land on BTTS was a 2-0 home win against Aberdeen. It was a poor display from Aberdeen, but they still managed 1.17 xG from nine attempts and two on target.

St Johnstone are newly promoted this season and have hit BTTS in two of their opening three Premiership matches.

In every game, they’ve recorded at least 1 xG, averaging 1.73 xG per match. The one game they failed to score in was away to St Mirren, where they still managed 1.68 xG from eight shots and two on target.

The sides haven’t met for over a season but historically BTTS has been a strong bet in this fixture, landing in seven of the last eight meetings.

My final pick is 4+ match cards in Falkirk v Rangers.

Falkirk were shown four cards away to Celtic at the weekend, with five cards in the match overall. They picked up two away to Motherwell in the game before, with four match cards in total, but weren’t shown a card in their opener against St Mirren, which had just two overall.

Rangers were shown three cards against Aberdeen at the weekend in a game that produced nine in total. They picked up one against Hibs, with two match cards overall, before being shown three against Dundee United in a game that had four.

These sides met four times last season, with the total card counts coming in at three, seven, three and five. The first of those games in the list that produced only three cards was on the final day of the season when both sides had nothing to play for.

Both teams have made a poor start to the season, with Falkirk taking just one point from their opening three games and Rangers picking up only four.

Falkirk is a difficult place to go, as Rangers found last season. They won two of their three visits to Falkirk Stadium, but none were straightforward: a 5-2 win, a 6-3 win where they found themselves 2-0 down, and a 1-1 draw.

It’s also the last plastic pitch in the league, which can create a very fast surface and often lead to more fouls.

With both sides desperate for points after disappointing starts, I’m expecting plenty of aggression from both teams and hopefully plenty of cards as a result.
