Bosnia and Herzegovina v San Marino
Kick Off: Saturday 7th June at 14:00
Competition: World Cup 2026 Qualifying
Top host bottom in Group H as Bosnia and Herzegovina take on San Marino on Sunday afternoon.
Bosnia are extremely heavy favourites at 1.01, whilst San Marino are 301.0 and the draw is 34.0.
Goals are expected for this one, with over 2.5 goals given a price of 1.14, and under 2.5 goals is 5.50, which we think is quite an attractive price.
The group leaders have won both games so far, against Cyprus and Romania, whilst San Marino lost to both of those sides.
⭐ Bosnia and Herzegovina v San Marino Predictions and Best Bets
Armin Gigovic looks worth chancing as an anytime goalscorer, having scored the winner last time out against Romania for Bosnia. He is available at 1.91.
Let’s take a chance on under 2.5 goals at 5.50, as we’re not wholly convinced by Bosnia and Herzegovina, who were arguably the poorer side in both their opening games.
We’ll also have a stab at Nicola Nanni to score anytime for San Marino at 26.0, fresh from two goals in their recent Nations League campaign and he is their penalty taker.
🔵 Concentration Required for Bosnia
It’s fair to say Bosnia and Herzegovina will go into this game expecting to win comfortably.
In their first group game, Bosnia emerged 1-0 victors in Romania, taking an early lead in the first quarter of an hour and seeing the game out. Bosnia only mustered five shots, but gamestate dictated that they could sit back and hold their lead. They then defeated Cyprus 2-1. The scores were even at 1-1 at half time, with Cyprus creating the better chances 1.4-0.5 xG. Bosnia managed to kick on and find a winner in the second half.
⚪ Slither of Hope for San Marino
San Marino have lost both group games so far, a 2-0 defeat against Cyprus, and a 5-1 thumping by Romania. They managed just six shots in those games and faced 44.
They recently recorded two competitive victories, beating Liechtenstein twice in the Nations League. A couple of years ago, Lichtenstein were able to give Bosnia two decent games, before eventually losing 2-0 and 2-1.
They have improved in recent years, and whereas in previous years you could expect them to get beaten by 4+ goals in pretty much every game, that seems to be happening less and less.
📊 Bosnia and Herzegovina v San Marino Head-to-Head Key Stats
These two sides have not met for 20 years, so the head-to-head record is not really of any relevance. Bosnia won those games 3-0 and 3-1.
