When formulating my Cheat Sheets on this one I was surprised by the amount of value that could be had on Malmo players picking up bookings. Chelsea are reigning European champions and are priced as short as 1.07 to win this game which highlights how comfortable a game it should be. They will dominate almost the entire game and will realistically probably have 70-80% possession. With that in mind, I would not be at all surprised to see the visitors pick up a number of bookings. With that in mind, below are my three favourite bet builder tips for the game at Stamford Bridge. Very little value in Chelsea players so using the Cheat Sheet and my own research I have focused on a couple of Malmo players to do the business in this one.
Chelsea v Malmo Bet Builder tips
Erdal Rakip to be Booked v Chelsea
I must admit I was surprised to see the price being offered on the North Macedonian midfielder with 4.5 on the face of it looking exceptional value. Referring to my Cheat Sheet you can see that he features prominently as he ranks second in the squad for fouls committed and joint-first for yellow cards. He will start in central midfield and be responsible for keeping tabs on the likes of Jorginho, Mason Mount and Ngolo Kante who are three of the most fouled players at Chelsea. He has already picked up a card in this season’s UCL in their last tie against Zenit St Petersburg and he looks a prime candidate to pick up another one at Stamford Bridge.

Erdal Rakip to have 1+ Shot v Chelsea
We stick with my best pal Rakip for my second bet builder tip of the evening. As I said previously, value is hard to come by from a Chelsea point of view so I have dug deep into my research to focus on Malmo players. Rakip is actually a former Crystal Palace academy player and was signed by Malmo having impressed them during his time with Portuguese giants Benfica. Now, he isn’t much of a goalscorer, but we really don’t need to be with just a swing of his right boot in the general direction of the Chelsea goal, all I am asking for. He averages a very healthy 1.66 shots per game domestically and against Zenit in their last Champions league game, despite losing 4-0 he still managed two shots with one landing on target. He is prone to a long-range effort and with Malmo unlikely to get too near the Chelsea goal for much of the night and priced at a generous 2.40, he looks an excellent value selection to register just a shot at goal in this one.

Bonke Innocent to be Booked v Chelsea
We finish with another Malmo card and again referring to my Cheat Sheet it is hard to look further than Nigerian defensive midfielder Bonke Innocent. He made it into the most recent Nigeria squad as a direct replacement for Leicester midfielder Wilfried Ndidi who missed out through injury. He plays in a very similar fashion to the Foxes midfielder, plenty of pressing, tackling, aggression and inevitably fouling as his stats so clearly show. 2.13 fouls committed per game and 4 yellow cards see him top of both the defensive stats at Malmo. He will likely partner Rakip in midfield and the pair will be responsible for harassing the Chelsea midfield in an attempt to stop them playing. He is a favourite for a yellow card in this game but at a price of 2.63 I still feel that represents reasonable value in this one.
