Level 1 Bet Builder Tip
🚀 Kristjan Asllani to have 2+ Shots
📈 Odds: 1.62
Asllani stands out as one of the few Albanian players that could cause England problems here. The Three Lions will dominate the majority of proceedings but in the moments that Albania can get the ball forward, Asllani can take aim at goal and often plays further forward for his nation compared to his club side, Inter Milan.
Asllani is averaging 1.65 shots per 90 across his 16 appearances for Inter in Serie A this season which is a pretty respectable average for a midfield player anyway, but it becomes even more standout when looking at his numbers for the national side.
Asllani had eight shots across his three appearances in the European Championship last summer (2.67 per 90), as well as 14 shots across his six appearances in the Nations League group stage towards the end of last year. This increase is a result of Asllani playing much higher up the pitch when lining up for his national team, often just behind the striker.
🩹 Jude Bellingham to be Fouled 2+ Times
📈 Odds: 1.50
Bellingham’s large frame and power makes him a difficult man to stop, he’s expected to line up in the middle of the park here but may also be pushed further on to operate just behind Harry Kane. Regardless of what position he takes us, Bellingham’s fouls won record this season has been really consistent.
Bellingham has won 48 fouls across his 22 appearances for Real Madrid in La Liga this season (2.39 per 90). His role in driving through the centre of the pitch was really evident in England’s Nations League campaign in which he was brought down 14 times across his four appearances in the competition (3.60 per 90).
Albania committed 11.3 fouls per game in their Nations League campaign towards the end of last year, and he may see this average rise up against England at Wembley where they’re likely to be on the back foot for the majority of the encounter. It’s likely that Albania also pack the central areas of the pitch to force England wide, resulting in a congested midfield area, increasing the chances of Bellingham being brought down.
🏆 England (-1) Handicap
📈 Odds: 1.44
Although we still don’t quite know what the setup and personnel will be for Tuchel’s first game in charge of the Three Lions, it would be a surprise if they don’t manage to win this game convincingly given the gap in quality between the two sides.
England won two of their three games at home during the group stages of the Nations League, with this selection landing in both of those victories. England are usually very strong at Wembley, during their qualification campaign for the European Championship, England won all four of their games at Wembley by an aggregate score of 14-1.
Albania may prove stubborn in the early exchanges with Tuchel still getting his ideas across to this England side but as the game opens up in the second half, England should be able to showcase their superior quality across the park and record a resounding victory over a side that sit 61 places beneath them in the FIFA World Rankings.
🛑 Albania to Commit 10+ Fouls
📈 Odds: 1.25
Albania will be aggressive against England in limiting spaces in central areas and looking to keep the Three Lions away from their box by committing fouls in the middle third of the pitch. Albania averaged 11.3 fouls committed per game across their six games in the Nations League group stage.
Albania are likely going to be tasked with the majority of the defensive workload here as the away side and given the lack of quality when compared to their opponents here. This should result in a scrappy performance from the travelling side in which they will look to play the game in phases. They may well get some joy early on in this game as England will still be adapting to certain roles and instructions given by Thomas Tuchel.

Level 2 Bet Builder Tip
⚽ Harry Kane to Score Anytime
📈 Odds: 1.62
Harry Kane links up with his former boss in Thomas Tuchel – who oversaw one of Kane’s best individual season, for Bayern Munich. Kane netted 44 goals across his 45 appearances under Tuchel that season and will be eager to add to his international total under the new manager.
Kane is England’s all time top goalscorer with 69 goals across his 103 caps. He’s scored 28 goals across 36 appearances at Wembley, which is more than any other England player in history so he can be well backed to get the Tuchel era off to a positive start.
Kane has scored 32 goals across his 37 appearances in all competitions for Bayern Munich this season, showing that he is still able to perform at the highest level despite some suggestions that England need a fresher option to lead the line. Kane will be on penalties for England which can aid him in finding the back of the net here, his experience in a relatively young England side could prove crucial in establishing a base for Thomas Tuchel.
🛑 Berat Djimsiti to Commit 1+ Fouls in the First Half
📈 Odds: 2.88
Djimsiti is one of the more recognisable names in the Albanian squad, the centre back currently plays his football for Atalanta and is enjoying an excellent season with his club side chasing the Scuduetto.
Djimsiti is averaging 0.68 fouls committed per 90 across his 26 appearances for Atalanta in Serie A this season. This average comes as a result of Djimsiti playing as part of a side that dominate the majority of their games and often aren’t put under significant pressure, unless they’re facing one of their title rivals. The picture is very different here with Djimsiti expected to line up against Kane.
Kane is great at leading the line for England and is averaging 0.87 fouls won per 90 across his 24 appearances in the Bundesliga this season. Kane likes to drop deep and can often be followed by centre backs when he goes into those positions. Kane is likely to continue in this role given that Tuchel was a fan of him doing it during his time at Bayern.
🥅 Over 2.5 Goals
📈 Odds: 1.57
England could end up covering this line on their own given the significant scoring power in the squad. England saw over 2.5 goals in four of their six games in the most recent international matches in the Nations League group stage. Albania saw over 2.5 goals in just two of their six games but notably their group was very competitive with not much to split the four sides, so tight games were expected.
During the last qualifying campaign for the European Championship, England scored 14 goals across their four games at Wembley (3.5 per game). This scoring power from the home side alone gives this selection a decent chance of coming in here. Albania may end up offering more of an attacking threat than the odds are giving them credit for, given the change that has occurred within the England setup over the last six months.
🚩 England Most Corners in Each Half
📈 Odds: 1.36
England comfortably won the corner battle in each of their three games at Wembley during their Nations League group stage campaign. England will dominate the ball and have the majority of chances here which should see the corners stack up.
Albania are likely to force England into wide areas by packing the midfield and their own box which should see plenty of deliveries from wide areas by England which can easily result in multiple corners totting up. England are likely to be on the front foot from the very beginning here, seeing as the squad has a new manager to win over so corners should flow regularly as they have been for England over recent games at Wembley.
