Level 1 Bet Builder Tip
✅🤝 Scotland Double Chance
📈 Odds: 1.36
Scotland look well placed to avoid defeat on Sunday evening and preserve their place in Group A of the Nations League. Steve Clarke’s side ended 2024 on an upward trajectory and they carried that momentum into Thursday’s 1-0 win over Greece, extending their unbeaten run to four matches in the process. That four-game streak is made all the more impressive given the fact that Scotland held Portugal to a draw before going on to claim a pair of wins over both Croatia and Poland respectively.
While Greece themselves have been upwardly mobile in recent times, they have lost two of their last three matches, one of which, of course, was against Scotland on Thursday night. Another tight contest is in prospect but home advantage could swing the balance in Scotland’s favour, making them worthy of support on the double chance.
🚩 Over 3.5 Greece Corners
📈 Odds: 1.36
The nature of the gamestate means that Greece will have to force the issue at some point, making them an attractive option to earn four or more corners. Ivan Jovanovic’s side comfortably won the corner count on Thursday night, racking up eight flag kicks to Scotland’s three. It’s also worth noting that the Greeks won five corners during their 2-1 win over England at Wembley, not to mention they forced seven away from home in Finland.
As for Scotland, they had to defend nine corners when they played host to Portugal earlier in the campaign, while Croatia clocked up seven corners on their visit to Hampden during the group phase. With all that in mind, Greece look well placed to claim a minimum of four corners on Sunday evening.
🎯 Scott McTominay to have 1+ Shots on Target
📈 Odds: 1.57
Scott McTominay cuts a talismanic figure for the national team, making him a prime contender to hit the target at least once on Sunday evening.
The Scotland midfielder delivered the goods once again for his country in Greece, with his first half penalty proving decisive. McTominay has now scored three goals across his seven outings in this Nations League campaign, hitting the target at least once in all but one of his seven appearances.
On top of this, the Napoli ace has worked the opposition goalkeeper once or more in each of Scotland’s three Nations League home games. The fact McTominay is also on penalty kick duty only adds to the appeal of this selection.
🩹 Scott McTominay to be Fouled 2+ Times
📈 Odds: 1.62
Scott McTominay has also been something of a foul magnet for Scotland across the current Nations League campaign. The marauding midfielder has been fouled once or more in six of his seven appearances in the competition. A deeper dig shows that McTominay has drawn multiple fouls from the opposition in four of those contests, reeling in three free kicks for his team in Greece last time out. The 28-year-old was also fouled on three occasions in Scotland’s home games with Poland and Portugal during the group phase.
McTominay will likely be up against Manolis Siopis, who committed a foul and collected a yellow card during Thursday night’s first leg. What’s more, the Greek midfielder was guilty of two offences in two of his four starts during the group stage.

Level 2 Bet Builder Tip
🥅 Over 1.5 Goals
📈 Odds: 1.36
Greece will need to get forward in order to get back into this tie but they could leave themselves open on the counter-attack. That lends itself to siding with over 1.5 goals at Hampden on Sunday evening. A sizeable four of Scotland’s six matches during the group phase featured two or more strikes, including a pulsating 3-2 defeat at home to Poland back on matchday one.
As for Greece, each of their six Group B2 games broke the over 1.5 goal barrier, with three of those contests producing over 2.5 goals. On top of that, six of Greece’s eight matches during the regular group stage of Euro 2024 qualifying delivered a minimum of two match goals, including three of their four fixtures away from home.
🚩 Over 5.5 Greece Corners
📈 Odds: 2.60
A minimum of six corners should be within range for Greece at Hampden on Sunday evening. Ivan Jovanovic’s side have proven to be relatively reliable on the corner front in their recent Nations League assignments, most recently earning eight flag kicks during the first leg of their play-off tie with Scotland. The Greeks also covered the 6+ corner line both home and away against Finland during the group stage, while they managed to earn five corners against England at Wembley.
Scotland boss Steve Clarke is renowned for his safety-first preferences, and playing in that manner should invite pressure from a Greece team in must-win territory. Both Croatia and Portugal managed to win six or more corners in Glasgow during the group stage and Greece can follow suit given the dynamics of the tie.
🩹 John McGinn to be Fouled 2+ Times
📈 Odds: 1.36
As tends to be the case more often than not, John McGinn is likely to be in the thick of the action, and he could draw at least a couple of fouls for his country on Sunday evening. The all-action Scotland midfielder was brought down on three separate occasions during Thursday night’s first leg in Greece. What’s more, during the group phase of the Nations League, McGinn earned his side a combined total of 11 fouls across his three starts, including five during Scotland’s home game with Poland.
The Aston Villa ace also regularly finds himself on the receiving end of some rough treatment on the domestic scene, drawing multiple fouls from the opposition in three of his last four outings in the Premier League.
McGinn will likely find himself in direct opposition to Kostas Tsimikas, who committed three fouls on Thursday night.
🛑 Kostas Tsimikas to Commit 2+ Fouls
📈 Odds: 2.10
Given John McGinn’s habit for drawing fouls, it makes sense to side with the aforementioned Kostas Tsimikas to commit two or more fouls during this second leg showdown. As already mentioned, Tsimikas overstepped the mark three times on Thursday night, while he also fell foul of the referee on two occasions in two of the four matches that he featured from the start during the group stage of the competition.
It’s also worth pointing out that Tsimikas committed three fouls and was shown a yellow card during his last Premier League start for Liverpool against rock bottom Southampton.
