Bray Wanderers v Wexford (Division 1)
🏟
Monday 27th June – 7:45PM KO
To put it simply, Bray Wanderers have been a total shambles on and off the pitch in 2022. From crowd trouble to their own Director of Football offering up a fist fight to supporters to heavy defeats on the field of play, the Seagulls have never been far from headlines this year.
In contrast, things could barely be going better at Wexford. Despite interest in their manager, who is building a reputation as one of the hottest upcoming coaches in Ireland, the South-East club were able to keep the services of Ian Ryan who has the team competing for a place in the end of season play-offs.
A late winner against fourth-placed Longford Town on Friday night should give Wexford a huge shot of confidence for the remainder of the season and they will hold no fears in having to travel to Bray on Monday night.
Only the bottom two have won fewer games than Bray this season (3 wins/19) with the Seagulls currently on a three match winless run, a run that includes a 5-1 hammering at home to Galway.
The two previous meetings between Bray and Wexford ended in draws this term and there’s no reason to suggest Wexford won’t pick up at least a point here against the laughing stock of the League of Ireland this season.

Treaty United v Cork City (Division 1)
🏟
Monday 27th June – 7:45PM KO
Cork City fans will be thanking their Treaty counterparts as they walk into the Market Fields on Monday given the Limerick side held Galway to a scoreless draw at the weekend, a result that saw City move back top of the table with their win at home to Cobh. While that was a tremendous result for Treaty, the fact Wexford picked up a surprise win against Longford means Tommy Barrett’s Treaty are now clinging onto the division’s final play-off place by their fingertips.
With Wexford facing a poor Bray side while Treaty hosts the league leaders, there’s every chance Wexford could leapfrog their rivals into that final play-off spot at the end of Monday night.
While Cork City would have been expected to win with greater ease against Cobh (1-0) those derby matches are often tight affairs and the fact this is a fixture Treaty have folded in on a couple of occasions this season should give Cork’s forward players plenty of confidence.
4-0 and 3-0 wins have been the order of the day for the Rebels over Treaty this year and with Galway facing a tough trip to Longford on Monday, this is a potentially big opportunity to open up some daylight between themselves and their title rivals.
