After kicking off his tenure as Nottingham Forest boss with a win, Sean Dyche was left frustrated in midweek, as his side were held to a 0-0 draw in the Europa League by Sturm Graz. That result made it three games without a win for the Tricky Trees, but they have looked more resolute at the back in recent weeks, and will hope to get back to winning ways against Leeds.

📈 Nottingham Forest v Leeds Form & Tactics
Sean Dyche secured his first win as Forest boss in his first game, against Porto in the Europa League, but hasn’t been able to build on that result. They followed it up with a 2-0 loss against Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium, in a game which was largely devoid of chances. The hosts managed just 0.58 xG from 13 shots, while Forest posted just 0.37 xG.
Against Man United at the weekend, Forest were pegged back by an 81st-minute strike from Amad Diallo, but it could’ve been worse - Murillo pulled off a last-gasp clearance off the line to keep the scoreline even, and ensure Forest at least came away with a point. Their midweek stalemate made it three straight games without a win.
Leeds’ last game was against Brighton at the weekend, and the Seagulls ran riot at the Amex Stadium. Diego Gomez bagged himself a brace, while Danny Welbeck extended his excellent form with another goal. The hosts racked up a total of 3.07 xG, with Lucas Perri making four key saves to keep the scoreline from getting out of hand. Meanwhile, Leeds could only muster up a total of five shots worth 0.5 xG.
📔 Nottingham Forest v Leeds Formation & Team News
Ryan Yates kept his place in the starting lineup on Thursday after featuring against Man United at the weekend, and he is likely to partner Elliot Anderson in midfield. Dan Ndoye is set for a recall in place of James McAtee, while Callum Hudson-Odoi is ruled out.
Igor Jesus was suspended in midweek, allowing Arnaud Kalimuendo to make his first start for Forest, but the Frenchman struggled to really involve himself in the game before being subbed after 80 minutes. Jesus is likely to lead the line with Chris Wood out.
Willy Gnonto has returned to training after suffering a calf injury, but wasn’t involved at the weekend, so Okafor should keep his spot on the left wing. Jayden Bogle and Dominic Calvert-Lewin are doubts coming into this clash.
