Brommapojkarna vs Landskrona
🏟
Saturday 10th September – 12:00PM KO
Following promotion from Ettan Norra last year, whereby they finished top of the league, Brommapojkarna have enjoyed an exceptional and unexpectedly strong second division campaign.
Under the management of Christer Mattiasson, who was appointed before that aforementioned third-tier promotion, has led the Stockholm-club to second in the table ahead of this weekend’s round of fixtures and they sit seven points tucked inside the top two and the automatic promotion spots with eight games to go.
They remain four points adrift of previously runaway league leaders Halmstad but they defeated Halmstad a couple of weeks ago as part of their outstanding and perfect run of form of late.
The hosts come into this on the back of a comfortable 2-0 win away at struggling, relegation-threatened Dalkurd last weekend. That victory means they have now enjoyed seven successive victories in all competitions and they are now unbeaten in their last 11 games. They have scored 47 goals in 22 games, too, highlighting their attacking intent and dominance.
They now face a Landskrona side that have enjoyed back-to-back victories recently, extending their unbeaten run of form to four matches. The visitors sit firmly in the middle-of-the-table.
Their most recent outing was a slender 1-0 win away at Orgryte IS as they have now pretty much assured their place in the Swedish second-tier for next season, after some slight concerns.
Despite their recent improvement in form, they are not expected to go to the Swedish capital city and pose much of a threat to the rampant and relentless hosts.

Osters vs Dalkurd
🏟
Sunday 11th September – 2:00PM KO
Like quite a few games in the Superettan as we head into the Swedish second division run-in, these are two sides with a lot to play for but for very different reasons.
Osters, under the management of Srdjan Tufegdzic, were expected to challenge for promotion this season after finishing the season well in fifth place last year. Well, they are indeed looking for a top three spot this season and a potential promotion/relegation playoff place at least.
The home team come into this on the back of a surprise 2-1 defeat away to Jonkopings Sodra which has halted their charge for the aforementioned top three spots. That loss came after back-to-back victories which had extended their unbeaten run of form to nine matches.
They now face a Dalkurd side that are enduring a predictably very difficult campaign and they must get themselves up and going in these closing stages of the season or they will be heading down into regional Swedish football.
The visitors’ most recent outing was a 2-0 loss at home to automatic promotion challenging Brommapojkarna last weekend. That defeat was their fifth successive game in which they have been on the wrong end of the result and they sit firmly inside the bottom two and the automatic relegation places from the Superettan.
Even despite their loss last weekend, which may even help boost their odds slightly, Osters will be expecting to get back on track with a fairly comfortable victory in this one.
