A battle of opposite ends of the Meistriliiga table, see’s unbeaten league leaders Flora Tallinn take on lowly desperate Parnu. They duly took out their frustrations on fellow Premium Liiga side, Legion, in the cup. Thrashing them 6-0, making some history in the process with 15-year-old striker Tony Varjund scoring his first senior goal for the club.
Parnu are on the other end of the spectrum. Now winless in 12 league matches and confidence slowly being zapped from the players. They’re coming into this game off a 4-2 defeat to Paide, and came from behind twice in the game, to level it up. That’s been Parnu’s story all season, being competitive and staying in games until the final 20 minutes of the match.
Flora will be at full strength and have the added extra of Martin Miller returning from his suspension. Flora have a number of players looking to hit double digits for the season> Zenjov, Alliku, Vassiljev and Kuraksin, will see this as a perfect opportunity for this.
Parnu will also be at full strength although that won’t matter much with Flora’s superiority.
