Their effectiveness on the break could not be understated, yet it was the defensive unit that ultimately stole the headlines.

Celta scored freely last season, with only four teams in La Liga finding the net more times. Under Claudio Giraldez, they’ve developed a reputation for their forward-thinking style and effectiveness in the final third. To restrict the Sky Blues to just 0.73 xG on their own turf was an impressive feat and should boost Getafe’s confidence massively.
