Aberdeen will conclude their Europa Conference League campaign when they face Sparta Prague at the Letna Stadium on Thursday night.

With a game to spare, the Dons were dumped out of the Conference League when going down 1-0 at home to Strasbourg last week.

Sparta Prague, on the other hand, know that victory on Thursday night will rubber-stamp a top-eight finish and secure automatic qualification for the knockout round.

Jimmy Thelin's side won’t be too disheartened by Aberdeen’s European shortcomings this season, given their flying form in the Scottish Premiership at the moment. Coming from behind to claim a 2-1 win over Kilmarnock on Sunday means that Aberdeen are now unbeaten in seven Scottish top-flight matches, collecting maximum points from five of those contests.

Aberdeen have failed to score in three of their five Conference League matches this season, while both teams have been shown a minimum of one card in four of the Dons’ five league phase fixtures.
