Both games kick off at 17:45 respectively. First up is Istanbul where Bayern Munich will look to cement their grip on Group A as they take on Turkish titans Galatasaray. Our expert has a sneaky feeling goals may be on the cards for this one…
Meanwhile, the other early clash takes place in Italy as Inter entertain Austrian giants RB Salzburg in a group that still hangs very much in the balance. With Inter and Sociedad level on points at the top of Group D, it’s imperative Simone Inzaghi’s men pull a result out here.

Galatasaray v Bayern Munich
Bayern will travel to Turkey to face Galatasaray on Tuesday evening, with a goal-fest very much possible.
There have been plenty of goals in games involving Galatasaray, both domestically and in the Champions League. The hosts drew 2-2 with København in their first game of the group stages, with Sacha Boey and Tete scoring late following a København red card. When the Turkish side visited Old Trafford, Galatasaray won 3-2, with forwards Wilfried Zaha, Kerem Akturkoglu, and Mauro Icardi getting on the scoresheet. In the league, Galatasaray have scored eighteen goals in nine games, with Icardi being the main goal source with ten goals to his name. At times, they have leaked goals, conceding nine goals in their last eight games.
Goals are inevitable when Bayern are playing. Thirty-three goals have been scored across the visitor’s opening eight league games, and ten goals have been scored across their two Champions League fixtures. Bayern have already scored forty goals in all competitions this season, with Harry Kane scoring ten of them. The visitors have at times looked uncomfortable at the back, conceding seven goals in the league and four goals already in this competition.
Three or more goals have been scored in eight of Galatasaray’s previous ten games and all of Bayern’s last ten. Expect goals to fly in here, meaning over 2.5 is the bet.
Inter v RB Salzburg
Inter will face Salzburg at the San Siro on Tuesday as the hosts look to put pressure on group leaders Sociedad.
In the Serie A, Inter have only lost once in nine games. Simone Inzaghi’s men are unbeaten in the Champions League, drawing 1-1 with Sociedad and beating Benfica 1-0. Domestically, Inter have scored freely this season, scoring twenty-four goals in nine games. Lautaro Martinez has been the main man up top, having scored eleven goals already and the Argentine has also netted in the Champions League. Inzaghi’s side have kept things quite tight at the back, keeping seven clean sheets in eleven games in all competitions; however, their recent defensive record has not been perfect at home, conceding twice in their last two games at the San Siro.
Salzburg will be disappointed to not be sat at the top of the Austrian Bundesliga. Gerhard Struber’s side have hit a run of poor form, failing to win any of their last three competitive games. In the Champions League, a win against a ten-man Benfica side and a loss against Sociedad leaves them currently sitting in third place of Group D. Domestically, they have demonstrated their attacking capabilities, averaging more than two goals scored per game. The goals have been shared by eleven different scorers.
Salzburg have been struggling in recent weeks, and it will not get any easier when they face Inter. Everything points towards an Inter win here, with at least a couple of goals scored in the process.
