Monday's 6/1 Baller League Accumulator Tips

Fixtures for: Monday 15th December

VZN FC v Wembley Rangers

Baller League

17:30

Wembley Rangers to Win @ 1.67

The first game of the evening sees Wembley Rangers take on VZN with the latter being the worst performing side in the Baller League this season. VZN missed out on the play-offs by just a few points last term, but have fallen apart this season with just one win from their seven games in the Baller League.

They enter this game in really poor form having lost each of their last five games in the Baller League, conceding at least three goals in all of those games. They take on a Wembley Rangers side that will have aspirations of finishing in the play-off spots and have only lost two of their seven matches in the Baller League, making them rightful favourites ahead of this clash.

Wembley Rangers did lose to VZN in the meeting between the sides last season, but that was a much more confident version of VZN, which they have struggled to replicate so far this term. Wembley Rangers’ two defeats in the Baller League this season have been against N5 and M7 - the current top two sides in the Baller League, which is a record that tells us that Wembley Rangers tend to be pretty reliable against the rest of the field.

SDS FC v Yanited

Baller League

20:30

Over 5.5 Goals @ 1.57

Many people expected this to be the final last year, but Yanited went out in the semi-finals at the O2 and paved the way for SDS to take the trophy in the inaugural tournament of Baller League UK.

This clash has all the ingredients for a high-scoring encounter with the sides separated by just one point in the league, and both looking to appear at the O2 for the second consecutive season.

SDS have seen 6+ goals in three of their last five Baller League matches, but enter this game a little out of form having lost their last two games against the 26ers and Deportrio.

SDS have the current top scorer in the Baller League within their ranks in the form of Kazaiah Sterling, who has 11 goals to his name so far. He’s already within three of his tally from last season, and scored in the final of the Baller League last term as SDS beat MVPs 4-3 in the final.

Yanited have already seen some very high-scoring games during this campaign, with the most recent being a 14-goal thriller against M7, which ended 7-7. This game could be just as entertaining with a long-running rivalry existing between the camps, as well as a motivation on both sides to finish in the play-off spots.

Clutch FC v 26ers

Baller League

22:00

26ers to Win @ 2.05

There isn’t too much between these sides when looking at their overall records in the Baller League this term, but I'm a big fan of the 26ers, and I think they are on course for a play-off spot this season.

John Terry has assembled a balanced side, with their danger man being Bilal Sayoud, who has already racked up 10 goal contributions in the Baller League this term. He’s particularly deadly in the 1v1 game changer with a hammer of a left foot that usually sees 26ers get the better of their opponents when presented with that game changer.

Clutch are a new side to the Baller League, and it’s fair to say that they’re still finding their feet with the wins from their seven matches so far. These two victories have come against VZN and Rukkas - the bottom two sides in the Baller League, so I think that 26ers will have the edge here with the experience of having a Baller League campaign under their belt and a higher quality of player in the squad, namely Bilal Sayoud.

Rukkas FC v Deportrio

Baller League

21:10

Over 5.5 Goals @ 1.35

Rukkas did manage to get their first win of the Baller League campaign a few weeks back with a 7-4 victory over NDL, but fell to a 4-2 defeat at the hands of the league leaders, N5, last time out. Each of Rukkas’ last three matches in the Baller League have seen 6+ goals.

Deportrio have seen 6+ goals in three of their last five matches in the Baller League, and are in a bit of a battle to get away from the bottom positions in the league with a split starting to form - as it did around this stage of the Baller League last season.

Deportrio have improved their resilience in recent weeks to avoid defeat across their last four matches, with two of those ending in 3-3 draws. Rukkas have shown more promise in recent weeks, and shouldn’t be too dejected from losing against the league leaders last time out, prompting what should be an entertaining encounter.
