These two sides met most recently in the Supercoppa Italiana – with Napoli running out comfortable 3-0 winners. These games were played in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – so potentially shouldn’t be given too much weight if using them to predict how Friday’s clash plays out. 

Their prior head-to-head was a league fixture in October, and Fiorentina prevailed with a 3-1 away victory. Chances were available at either end, but Napoli were wasteful.
