Levadia v Parnu
🏟
Friday 12th August – 5:00PM KO
Levadia come into this game following a 1-0 victory against Narva, taking their unbeaten run to 13 games, and winning run to 4 in the Meistriliiga. Although it hasn’t been spectacular, they have been getting the job done. With many fans and media expecting Levadia to be blowing teams away, it hasn’t always gone to plan. A mixed performance against Narva, with a goalkeeper howler gifting Levadia the victory. A game with Parnu before a couple of tricky fixtures is much needed for added confidence to keep the unbeaten run going.
Parnu couldn’t even get a win if it was handed to them on a plate. Coming into this tricky encounter following a late 1-0 defeat to Kure, has left the city of Parnu feeling glum. Not even the nice beach weather in the summer capital can lift the spirits at the moment. 9 games winless and 2 games without scoring, the torrid run doesn’t look set to end here.
Levadia will have no suspensions or injuries to contend with so will be at full strength here and will be hoping key players like Beglarishvili, Roosnup and Kirss can score plenty to pile the misery onto Parnu. Parnu will be missing top scorer Kauber for this one, so will be relying on Tiismaa to step up and try to breach the best defence in the league.
Parnu don’t have much luck when facing Levadia, they’ve played twice already this season, scoring once and conceding 12, including a whopping 8-0 defeat. Levadia have won all 5 league meetings between the 2 sides, scoring 27 goals. Levadia have scored a minimum of 4 goals a game in each of the previous 5 meetings between the sides.

Prediction: Levadia Win & Over 3.5 Goals, 1.53 on Betfair (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️)
TJK Legion v Nomme JK Kalju
🏟
Saturday 13th August – 12:30PM KO
Legion had the opportunity to have a rest week as their game with Paide last week got postponed due to Paide’s European exploits. This is probably ideal for them as Legion have been in some horrible form of late, losing 5 out of their last 5 and only scoring once in that time.
Kalju meanwhile are playing with aggression, picking up just 1 point in back-to-back games vs Narva they are having taken no prisoners since then with 0-3 & 0-6 thrashings of Pärnu and Kalev respectively.
In recent weeks Kalju have had goals flying in from all over the pitch with defenders picking up their fair share with main striker Alex Tamm missing through suspension, the strikers have played their part also with back up striker Aleksandr Volkov scoring a hattrick in the game vs Kalev, it says a lot about the scoring options Kalju have.
Legion’s woes seem like they will continue for the foreseeable future, for what seemed like a turning block for them 5 weeks ago, is now just going downhill fast. A lack of leadership on the field with star players Pavel Domov & Nikita Ivanov seem like they have ran out of steam. Young centre back Mihhail Kolobov has joined Flora and replaced with inexperience. The financial trouble of Legion is making it very difficult to bring in any real quality that we saw from them last season.
The game between these 2 always involves goals with the last 5 finishing with O2.5 goals, with Kalju playing with a chip on their shoulder after losing ground to Levadia for 2nd place they are coming at the throat for those lower at the table. Legion can’t score goals and don’t really have an identity now, and it will not be surprising if Kalju have this wrapped up by half time.

Prediction: Over 2.5 Goals, 1.44 on Betfair (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️)
Flora Tallinn v Narva Trans
🏟
Saturday 13th August– 3:00PM KO
It’s difficult to see who can beat Flora this season, they are currently 37 league games unbeaten stretching back into last season. This season Flora are 22 games unbeaten, winning 20 of them and sit atop the league, 5 points clear of 2nd place Levadia.
Narva also finds themselves in some decent form with only 2 defeats in their last 6, collecting 2 wins and 2 draws in that time. Narva’s injury problems is what continues to be their Achilles heel this season, with a very depleted back line and now a very depleted strike force. Some new signings have come in so for Narva it’s a hope that they can stay fit and push them away from the relegation places.
Flora are the league’s top scorers with 62, with 5 of their players occupying the top 10 in the scoring charts. Conceding just 11 goals all season, Flora have kept 4 clean sheets in their last 5.
Narva meanwhile have kept just 2 clean sheets all season, 16 games have passed since their last. Without a proper striker for most the season, goals have also been fairly difficult to come by, coming up against one of the best defences in the league and with a few new signings it could take a while for them to gel.
Flora have won the last 5 against Narva, keeping 4 clean sheets in the process. Narva will find it tough in this one with the strikers available to them only scoring 2 goals between them all season and with star play maker Aleksandr Zakarlyuka ruled out for the season, the creativity is lost. Flora have goals all over the park, and they will wait patiently to pick Narva apart, with what should be a comfortable win.

Tallina Kalev vs Tammeka
🏟
Saturday 13th August– 5:15PM KO
Kalev come into the game with Tammeka following a rather disappointing and humbling 6-0 defeat to Kalju. A defeat was always expected last week, but the performance was drab and uninspired. Like most of Kalev’s defeats this season, most of the goals conceded have come from a lapse in concentration and terrible defending. Unsurprisingly Kalev have conceded the league’s highest goals this season with 62. Kalju took advantage of this.
With Kalev 5 points clear of 9th place Legion, and only 3 points behind their opponents Tammeka,, these are the kinds of games where points are a must.
Tammeka come into the game following a very spirted 1-0 defeat to league leaders and undefeated Flora Tallinn. Tammeka will feel disappointed to not have taken anything from the match, especially after playing against 10 men for 25 minutes. Unlike Kalev, with the poor defending, Tammeka’s woes come at the other end of the pitch, with the team struggling to score goals. Scoring the league’s lowest 18 goals in 22 games, and not scoring in their last 3 league games. Despite this, they have still managed to score in 60% of their games this season, only firing a blank in 8 games
Kalev will be at full strength for this match and will be looking to the usual match winners Yakovlev, Trawally and Purje to see them over the line and new striker Timofeev who has joined on loan has scored 7 goals in the Esiliiga this season. . Whilst Tammeka will be sweating on the fitness of defender Gerdo Jukham, who limped off In the defeat to Flora. David Addy will be missing through suspension. Tammeka will need attacking players, Matas and Valja to start stepping up and contributing some goals.
These 2 have met twice already this season, with Kalev surprisingly winning both games. Tammeka last beating Kalev in the relegation play-off, which ended in a resounding 3-0 victory. Both teams need points, and fast, expect this one to be interesting.
