The Giallorossi return to the Stadio Olimpico on Monday night, hoping to atone for their mistakes and bounce back strongly in front of a home crowd.
However, that promises to be no easy task against Cagliari.

📈 Roma v Cagliari Form & Tactics
It was a frustrating night for Roma when they last played, as Udinese were able to hold on to their slender one-goal lead. Jurgen Ekkelenkamp opened the scoring from a free-kick, which took a wicked deflection and looped past Mile Svilar.
Roma dominated proceedings after that, but were unable to find the decisive goal. Bryan Cristante thought he had bagged the all-important equaliser late on, but it was eventually ruled out for offside. Maduka Okoye then made an exceptional save deep into stoppage time, ensuring his side left with all three points.
Roma have failed to win any of their last three matches across all competitions, but they are still in a good spot. The Romans are only two points behind Juventus in the Serie A standings, and were recently able to secure a top-eight finish in the Europa League.
Meanwhile, Cagliari are sitting mid-table - 11 points clear of the relegation zone, but 13 points adrift of the European spots. Considering Cagliari were 18th in the standings just a few weeks ago, it has been an impressive turnaround, and they have secured three wins on the spin. Fabio Pisacane will hope his side can continue to build momentum going into matchday 24.
📔 Roma v Cagliari Formation & Team News
There has been no changes to the starting eleven for Cagliari in their last three matches, and that trend should persist, with no fresh injury concerns from last weekend.
Mina looks set to continue at the heart of the back three, alongside Ze Pedro and Sebastiano Luperto. Semih Kilicsoy and Sebastiano Esposito have formed a striker partnership up top, with Adam Obert and Marco Palestra providing width as the wingbacks.
Dybala picked up a minor knee injury against AC Milan, which is expected to keep him out of action for another week. Matias Soule should continue to start in his absence, with Malen leading the line. Devyne Rensch has been struggling with injury recently, but was listed on the bench against Udinese.
He could be in contention to replace Zeki Celik, with Wesley continuing to operate on the left. Neil El Aynaoui should continue to feature in midfield with Manu Kone nursing an injury.
