UFC Fight Night London takes place this Saturday night at the O2 Arena, London, and our expert has found some good value in the MMA Tips & Best Bets below.

Leon Edwards (#1) v Sean Brady (#5) - Welterweight

👊🏻 Fight To Go The Distance - Yes (1.57)

Redemption for Rocky? Leon Edwards makes his first octagon appearance since relinquishing the welterweight title to Belal Muhammad back in July. In his way lies tough Philadelphia native Sean Brady, who took the fight after Jack Della Madselena pulled out in order to fight Muhammad for the title at UFC 315. Edwards is priced as the underdog for this, which lies very much down to the fact we don’t know what the former champ will look like following his lacklustre display against Belal Muhammad. 1.57 is a nice price for this to go the full 25 minutes. Neither fighter is known for their KO power, and recent trends prove they prefer to grind out wins. Seven of Edward’s last nine have gone the distance, while four of Brady’s seven UFC wins have come via the judges' scorecards. A home crowd will be there in support of Edwards at the O2 Arena this Saturday, but it’s likely they’ll get a full 25 minutes of action.

Jan Blachowicz (#3) v Carlos Ulberg (#6) - Light Heavyweight

👊🏻 Over (+2.5) Rounds (1.73)

Carlos Ulberg has quietly put together a serious run at 205lbs. Seven wins in a row with six by way of finish is quite a way to bounce back after losing your UFC debut by KO. He’s now climbed to #6 in the LHW rankings, but now it’s time for a serious step up in competition - former champion, ‘Polish Power’ Jan Blachowicz. Despite being winless in his last two, context is important for Blachowicz. A split decision draw against current champion Magomed Ankalaev was followed by a split decision loss to Alex Pereira. Many dispute Jan won both of these fights. The Over 2.5 Rounds market has a decent price. Blachowicz will keep the fight at a distance with his patented kicks to the body and legs, and it’s Ulberg’s choice whether to engage.

Nathaniel Wood v Morgan Charriere - Bantamweight

👊🏻 Nathaniel Wood to Win (2.20)

Nathaniel Wood enters this bout against Frenchman Morgan Charriere as the betting underdog - a price in truth too good to ignore at odds against. Wood has the skill set to beat Charriere due to his superior speed, footwork, and well-rounded game. London-native Wood is an excellent striker with crisp boxing, sharp leg kicks, and high fight IQ, allowing him to dictate the pace and distance. Charriere does pack a dangerous counterpunch but has already slipped to 2-1 in the UFC despite his Cage Warriors credentials. 2.20 is a great price to bolster your accumulator backing Nathaniel Wood here.

Marcin Tybura (#8) v Mick Parkin (#13) - Heavyweight

👊🏻 Mick Parkin to Win (1.80)

Sunderland’s own Mick Parkin has made a solid start to his UFC career. One win on the Contender Series was followed by a four-fight win streak for the 29-year-old. Parkin very much has time on his side and is a young heavyweight. Currently training with interim champion Tom Aspinall, Parkin has all the tools to succeed against Polish heavyweight gatekeeper Marcin Tybura. Tybura is essentially the ultimate litmus test for any potential heavyweight. Beat him - you are set to stick around the top six or seven for the next few years. Lose - and you’re up against it to prove your worth. Tybura has traded losses in recent years following his excellent 2020/21 run which saw him win five in a row, but Parkin seems a wise choice. Granted he is yet to be tested by a fighter of Tybura’s level, but odds of 1.80 seem generous against a fighter battling on home soil.
